Where do you store your Bond collection?

Now, I'm thinking of getting this, it looks great and I think it would be able to store my stuff. The cupboard at the bottom would probably store my 007 Scene It, Monopoly Set and books. I have a nice alcove where it could go, I hope it fits. The ceilings are quite low, since my bedroom is in the attic. I've never been able to take photographs for CBn, because I'm embarrassed about the way my collection is displayed.
So, how is everyone else's collection stored?

Embarrassed about the way your collection is displayed? C'mon Harkers, take some photos and show us. We'll be waiting for it.

All my Bond movies are put in CD folder. It's easier than removing them from covers every time I watch them.My wall only has Casino Royale poster with SW lightsabers. None of autographs are hung anymore. Growing up is a pain.

Check the thickness of their shelves compared to the Argos one.
My paperbacks alone are arranged over 3 full size (6ft 8in tall x 2ft 8in approx) "Billy" book cases (in the lounge), with hardbacks arranged in another full size (entrance hall) and one half size (3ft 6in tall x 2ft 8in approx) also in the lounge, that's not counting the two old glass fronted book cases (1 - 3ft tall x 3ft, 2 - 3ft tall x 2ft 6in) kept in the lounge full of hard-backs. Then there are those books still in boxes (in mine and the spare bedroom). I also have another half size "Billy" in the lounge with my other non-Bond books, mainly concerning old aeroplanes. A couple of small display cabinets with Corgi toys etc and the record collection below the stereo. The book shelves are scattered with the odd Bond (or other) toy, other than that, most of my other "toys", games, pictures, posters, models etc, etc are stored in boxes in the two bedrooms.
Looking forward to retirement when I can arrange and show them better (only another 8 years ).

The majority of my Bond stuff is also stored on IKEA Billy book shelves, and they certainly hold all my hardbacks no problem.Mharkin, check out the Ikea "Billy" bookshelf range first, you can do a lot with them:

Good thread. I have a small collection of items - mainly books and several posters.
I'm still uncertain about public versus private display. At the moment everything is in my room however i wonder whether to publicly display my first editions ie lounge room.
If anyone has the Cape first editions how do you display them?

I have 1 room in my house that I have set up as a lounge. It has a fully stocked bar and many of my Bond collectables on display. Unfortunately I have more stuff (I have been collecting Bond stuff for over 25 years)than I can display.
Cool! I'm thinking about the same thing! I hope someday in my own house to make a huge room only for Bond! You lock the door, get a Martini, throw a movie in the player and you're in a different world! Still, I have to boost my collection a bit cause I'm a collector for only a short period of time!

Jaguar , that is a sweet sweet room with the Best teaser poster for a Bond movie ever.................... LTK. May I ask where you managed to find that poster?
I hope am not being pushy but do u have the video of your room being broadcast on tv? It would be fun to see most of your stuff in a close up.

I got the LTK poster back in 89 from a comic/hobby store.
I will try to upload the video of my 2002 TV appearance on youtube later today.

tnd1964 & Querty, great collections too!
My stuff is mostly packed away with the exception of some of the books, CDs, & DVDs. I've been working on organizing & cataloging everything better & will eventually displaying some items in my home office. Just one more thing to add to the already large list of things to do around the house.

I have the same thing. All my memorabilia is in a room in my garage, which isn't the best place for a collection, but I don't have a lot of choice. My stuff just sits in there. My stuff is mostly packed away with the exception of some of the books, CDs, & DVDs. I hope to catalog everything over the winter, but it seems like I just never get around to it. A lot of my collection is magazines, press kits, programs and such, not really anything displayable. But I do have my share of posters, toys, etc. Maybe someday.
