Ahem, does nobody think that EON will want to have the next Bond in theaters BEFORE the next Bourne? Therefore the 2010 theory definitely seems plausible for me...

For purely commercial reasons, late 2010 seems like the best release date then? Avoid the summer blockbusters, and give action fans something when there are no other action movies about.
I just hope it's a good one, whenever it comes out is less important.

Since Frank Marshall has recently stated that the next Bourne film is targeted for a release in 2011, EON might have accelerated their plans and are indeed trying to get Bond 23 into theaters in 2010.
Which would be fine with me.
I wish it was true, but since EON doesn´t see their film as a Bourne clone, this is no evidence at all.
