I approve, but think he maybe needs one or two more movies to really hit the top spot. My opinion of him hasn't really changed due to QUANTUM OF SOLACE. I still consider his turn in CASINO ROYALE to be the superior performance.

May I kindly suggest another option for the poll?

- Approve But Reserve Full Judgement Until Bond 23 [or something like that]

The reason I say this is becasue he has not been asked to play the fully finished article through out an entire movie yet. The zenith for me is Sean Connery in Thunderball.

I believe Craig in Quantum trumps all other performances (including his own in CR) save for Connery's 1965 outing.

I haven't voted yet. I would lean towards him being Best Bond Ever but I need to see Bond 23 first.

I half hear you and half think the poll is meant for your feelings right now and you can give us you post-Bond 23 opinion post-Bond 23.

I voted Craig as the best Bond ever and considered him so before Quantum of Solace's release. I'd like to see Bond 23 give Craig a bit more meat to chew on, like he had in Casino Royale; his Quantum of Solace performance is fine, but not as broad as we previously had.

I've voted Approve. My opinion of him has stayed the same as I consider his performance in Quantum of Solace to be equally as good as in Casino Royale.

I voted approve, but not the best Bond. That is still Sean Connery. However I think he is well on his way to possibly being the best Bond ever.

My opinion of him is pretty much the same since QoS.

Good point about this being about now.

I, hence, vote Approve.

Craig is one of the best Bond tie up with Connery according to me.
Now I voted that my opinion of Craig has stayed the same, because well, now don't hate me, Craig does a great performace in Qos, is just that I wanna see a diffrent side of his potrait of Bond, which is in Bond 23 hopefully.

Well, CASINO ROYALE is by far the better showcase for Craig's Bond. I very much doubt that he or any other Bond actor (if indeed there ever will be another Bond actor) will ever get finer material to work with.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE has its moments, and Craig certainly acquits himself, but in the scheme of things it's a pretty mediocre film. I'm not knocking it, but it ain't no solid gold classic of cinema.

However, I'd say that Craig is certainly the best Bond after Connery, although I'd have said that before QUANTUM OF SOLACE, which hasn't really changed anything. It has neither advanced nor retarded the cause of Craig.

My opinion of Craig has stayed the same after watching QoS, in that I still think he is the best Bond yet... yes, that means better than Connery.

I always like to see a second Bond film before truly commenting on an actor (save for Lazenby of course). Because I feel it's not until we see another performance that we truly get an idea of what how the actor will play the character. After seeing QoS I can safely say Craig is my favorite Bond, did the film improve my view of him? Probably not, but at least now I have an idea of how he'll play the character in future outings.

I treated Brosnan the same way, it was only after TND came out that I saw how his Bond would be portrayed (too bad we only got two more films after that).

A simple modification of HH007's comments is all it takes to summarize my opinion on the matter:

My opinion of Craig has stayed the same after watching QoS, in that I still think he is the best Bond yet... yes, that means better than as good as Connery.

I agreed from others taking the poll, my opinion of Craig has stayed the same. I approve of him of his potrayel of Bond, but "QoS" was a big dissapointment for me. I'm not saying the film set back his performance at all, but the next Bond film needs to be a slam dunk, ala "Goldfinger" in order for Craig to even surpass Connery's Bond. The quality of next bond movie will defintely sum up whether Craig will be the best bond actor for me.

He was so good in the first one, that it was hard if not impossible to be better in the second outing. For me, being as good in it was the best he could do - and that´s what he did. So, opinion remains the same.

He's good, but not the best and that hasn't changed, and I don't see the potential for that to change going forward either. He's the best actor ever in the role, and pretty secure in my top three Bonds.

Daniel Craig is still my favorite James Bond.

But as far as I'm concerned, there is "no best James Bond". For me, no such character exists. I feel that all six actors did a great job in portraying the character in a style that best suited each of them.

Craig remains my 2nd favourite Bond. Nobody will ever top Connery, sorry. That's just the way it is but QoS may have had its fair share of problems but Craig wasn't one of them..

I hope movie goers recognize this and don't start B)ting on the franchise again. I also thought Craig himself got out of QOS pretty much unscathed. He's a great Bond.

He's my favorite, and I only liked him more after QoS. It still boils down to him bringing a strong mix of what Connery and Dalton offered, even though both of them are still unmatched in what they did best. QoS was tailor-made for him, so it only further highlighted how great he is.

I think Craig and Connery are equal. I would list them both as my 'Favourite Bond' and don't think I could ever make the decision.

Both come across as intensely dangerous men, perhaps with Daniel taking the ege in that department imo. Connery, however wins the "Coolest and Smoothest" Bond award.

This was my opinion after seeing Craig in Casino Royale, and Quantum didn't change it one bit.
