- Approve But Reserve Full Judgement Until Bond 23 [or something like that]
The reason I say this is becasue he has not been asked to play the fully finished article through out an entire movie yet. The zenith for me is Sean Connery in Thunderball.
I believe Craig in Quantum trumps all other performances (including his own in CR) save for Connery's 1965 outing.
I haven't voted yet. I would lean towards him being Best Bond Ever but I need to see Bond 23 first.

May I kindly suggest another option for the poll?

I half hear you and half think the poll is meant for your feelings right now and you can give us you post-Bond 23 opinion post-Bond 23.

My opinion of him is pretty much the same since QoS.

Good point about this being about now.
I, hence, vote Approve.

Now I voted that my opinion of Craig has stayed the same, because well, now don't hate me, Craig does a great performace in Qos, is just that I wanna see a diffrent side of his potrait of Bond, which is in Bond 23 hopefully.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE has its moments, and Craig certainly acquits himself, but in the scheme of things it's a pretty mediocre film. I'm not knocking it, but it ain't no solid gold classic of cinema.
However, I'd say that Craig is certainly the best Bond after Connery, although I'd have said that before QUANTUM OF SOLACE, which hasn't really changed anything. It has neither advanced nor retarded the cause of Craig.

I treated Brosnan the same way, it was only after TND came out that I saw how his Bond would be portrayed (too bad we only got two more films after that).

My opinion of Craig has stayed the same after watching QoS, in that I still think he is the best Bond yet... yes, that means
better thanas good as Connery.

But as far as I'm concerned, there is "no best James Bond". For me, no such character exists. I feel that all six actors did a great job in portraying the character in a style that best suited each of them.

I think my opinion has been consistant since his initial casting.
Hard to pick one best- really depends on mood.

Agreed.Well, CASINO ROYALE is by far the better showcase for Craig's Bond. I very much doubt that he or any other Bond actor (if indeed there ever will be another Bond actor) will ever get finer material to work with.
QUANTUM OF SOLACE has its moments, and Craig certainly acquits himself, but in the scheme of things it's a pretty mediocre film. I'm not knocking it, but it ain't no solid gold classic of cinema.

QoS may have had its fair share of problems but Craig wasn't one of them..
I hope movie goers recognize this and don't start ting on the franchise again. I also thought Craig himself got out of QOS pretty much unscathed. He's a great Bond.

Both come across as intensely dangerous men, perhaps with Daniel taking the ege in that department imo. Connery, however wins the "Coolest and Smoothest" Bond award.
This was my opinion after seeing Craig in Casino Royale, and Quantum didn't change it one bit.
