The other nominations must be pretty bad. Or is it that curious snobbery that seems to operate in England. Well respected author lowers himself to write James Bond novel. It must be good. Oh well we live in an age where mediocrity is applauded.

I think it's great to see a James Bond book win this award. (I do think Charlie Higson was robbed though. BRC should have at least been nominated in the children's category.)
