Interesting. I’m guessing this game would have been an extension of EoN, which wouldn’t have been bad at all.
Probably would have been the smartest choice for them considering the mediocre responses to both GoldenEye: Rogue Agent and From Russia With Love.

I would've welcomed EON 2 with open arms.

Wow, that looks awesome considering it was for PS2, looks better than Wii's Daniel Craig!
We don't know anything about the renders, where they come from and what hardware they are running on. They could just be concept renders or for promotional purposes. They wouldn't have looked like that ingame running on a PS2.

now that i wanna see!The screenshots look good. Too bad that EA cancelled this project. The graphics look much better than screenshots of EON. Would've loved EON 2 on nextgen consoles!
Maybe EA has also some photos of the cancelled Casino Royale videogame!?

So, more or less, I'd want to see the next Bond in 3rd person. It'd be a first for the current generation.
Starring either the current blond Bond or Sir Roger Moore.

This isn't from a game. FRWL was only made because EA couldn't make another Brosnan game due to his being dropped. They were working on a game when it happened, that they had to scrap and replace with FRWL, that these could be from, as the next Bond game in production after FRWL would have been the ill-fated Casino Royale adaption. Also, this kind of detail would be impossible on the harware of the time. I guess we'll never know. Just thank God we never had to endure another EON or FRWL, and play QOS again. It grows on you.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm. I disagree with you . EON was one of the best games on PS2 . FRWL was a good choose to do as a game but there were some mistakes..
QOS is horrible game .. although the gameplay was new and easy to deal with ..

EON, to me, was a "Jack-of-all-trades, master of none." It wasn't a good third-person shooter, it wasn't a good driving game, it wasn't a good stealth game, and it wasn't even a good multiplayer game. Perhaps I played it on the GC and it "controls better" on the PS2 or Xbox, but there were some things that just didn't work. Especially since many stages had zero checkpoints and required you to go through droves of enemies. That's what kept me from beating the game for a long while until I finally "got the system down" and beat the final stage. And I consider myself a competent video gamer.
FRWL was a dumbed down and a bastardization of a great Connery-era movie, and I'm not a big Connery Bond fan. It's as if they tried to modernize it and keep the 60's feel. It's almost self-parody!
