What?!? I thought, like a lot of things the new things introduced in QoS, the production design didn't feel right, especially M's office. Peter Lamont needs to return for Bond 23.

I myself think he did a good job, but considering Quantum has gotten hosed on pretty much EVERYTHING ELSE it's been nominated for, I'm not holding my breath.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE won't win, but it did have nice production design. I'm rather surprised that it was nominated though, since I didn't think its design was that extraordinary (though it does strike me as more deserving than some of the other films listed).

That figures. I do sort of agree, there wasn't anything too special about Quantum's art design...really, it just reminded me a lot of Casino Royale at times, although that's hardly a complaint. I just wish QoS would win SOMETHING it's nominated for! Anything!

I'm not a production design expert, but it's nice QoS is nominated for something else than visual or sound effects.

Since 'Slumdog' is winning lots of other awards these days, I guess it's the frontrunner for this one as well.

Well, I have to admit that the filmmakers did a tremendous job making the party scene in Bolivia look great. From what I remember from the production blogs, that place was a dilapidated wreck. Looks damn fine in that movie!

I thought Greene's hotel looked great as well, not to mention that it has the oddest location, just like any good Bond villain base should. Sleek and modern, it was great.

M's office...I'm still on the fence about that one. I think it was fine for this movie, but I wouldn't mind seeing M return to a more traditional office in the next movie.

I really enjoyed desert scenes, M's office design and
Greene's hotel and of course Tosca set.
Prod design never reminded me of CR ...
Agree though Dennis won't win unfortunately...
