And the Game is too short as well (like all Bond games).
Next time I pick up a Bond Game, I expect to be stuck on it for months on Operative, not a few days on 00 Agent.

It is too easy, Aussie. It is also short. And once you finish it, you've got all these bonus points that you don't know what to do with.

"Too easy"? Hell. It took my son and I a few months to complete this. But, we only played for around 2-3 hours per week because of homework, and we'd rather he got some air as opposed to playing games all the time. He cracked most of the levels, but the hardest one (IMHO) was the boat level underneath the 'Russian Consulate'. :)

What we love about this game, is the multi-player section. Always good for a father and son punch-up. :(

Upgrade gadgets? Thats what I did. And it wouldve been EVEN EASIER if I bothered to use that.

I agree, Russian Consolute was hard, I spent a Good week on that. It took me 3 weeks to crack the entire game and all bonus levels. But Ive had the PS2 since I was 8, so Ive got SOME EXPERIENCE now....

You must have a nifty pair of hands. :(

For me, trying to keep that analogue paddle (or whatever it's called) straight when shooting the bastards, it was hard.

It's the best game for us oldies, for sure. (a touch of the Irish there :))

Thanks, but I already knew that. But it's still a difficult level. :)

Why are you misquoting me? I did not use an expletive in my post.

No.

When you quote someone on here, you extend them the courtesy of not changing their post (save, if it is very long and you only want to refer to a bit of it, removing the extraneous stuff but not changing it so as to misquote either in words or context).

This behaviour is not going to be tolerated. Tough.

'Bye.

Have a nice weekend.

Ultraussie, just two heads up. You really do not want to mess with the commanding Officers, and two: I did upgrade everything and still had like 100,000 points left.

Yes, it was easy. Although, I still haven't opened all the bonus levels. So not that easy for me. Couldn't pass the sniping bonus level.

The sniping level on 00 was probably the toughest. Just keep at it, Blondie.

Hmm. Been reading some reviews and this thread and I have to ask-

Would it be worth buying it (especially since I can get it for like $10 used for the PS2 at GameStop) even though you guys say it's an easy game or should I just rent it and leave it at that?

Thanks in advance!

I'd say rent it first and if you like it(like I did), then buy it. IMO, its a really good game, other than the problems that we have mentioned

Yes, it's a worthy game to buy if you're a bond fan.

It gives you another perspective to the story told twice. That and you get Connery and worthy imitations of Bernard Lee , Lois Maxwell, Robert Shawn and few other characters from the movie. Though I do believe the Tanya part of story was underused. They just came up with these new scenarios , not seen in either the movie or in the book.

But it has worthy enough retro feel to it. For most parts of the game...

Once I figured out how to zoom in and just shoot the enemies grenades it was very easy. There was a hard bonus level though which Bond is a sniper and the enemies keep coming.

For me, It wasn't too easy (if you play it on the 00 Agent difficulty). I just go back and play it to unlock the extra levels once in a while.

I just finished it. Although, I didn't do all of the award things yet anyway. I'm gonna play QOS tonight, I hope. Depends on whether or not my fiancee picked it up from Wal-Mart where she works. (I ordered it online to do site to store.)

I have completed the FRWL PS2 game 94%.
I am stuck getting all the tedious reward points, whats more, they dont make it clear which ones you should aim to get and which ones you shouldnt.

i'm playing the easiest setting. i zipped through some of the levels. i'm on the underground canal part. darn is it hard. i don't know how you get through it with no armor. it's fun, and i love the 60s look. i don't know how they got Kerim's voice so close to Pedro A. it sounds exactly the same.

You are kind of right, Fleming. He does sound like Pedro. The Underground level is a bit of a headache. Keep trying. Alright, I am finally a vet!
