Hi all Australian fans!

We've organised a charity screening of Quantum of Solace at the Ritz cinema in Randwick, Sydney, to raise money for Careflight Emergency Helicopter Service, just days after the official premiere, on 20th November at 6.15pm. It would be great if all Sydney and indeed Australian-based Bond fans could come along for this red carpet event. Here's the official blurb, and details on how to buy tickets.

If you who have always wanted to go to a James Bond red carpet event this is your chance.

We're organising a James Bond 'Better than the real Premiere' fundraiser for the emergency helicopter service CareFlight. It's going to be a rather swanky red carpet champagne reception event with paparazzi style photographers lining the red carpet at the marvelous art deco Ritz cinema in Randwick, Sydney.

CareFlight are parking one of their helicopters outside the cinema. An Aston Martin will also be there. There are also 2 Quantum of Solace posters signed by director Marc Forster up for grabs, for the highest bidder. Basically it's a red carpet event you always wanted to attend, and then some!!

To reserve your tickets, please visit the official website www.licencetosave.com.au

We look forward to seeing you then!

Good luck with the event - I'd love to come, but getting to Sydney mid-week would be a bit difficult.

We had a great time, and raised $12,000 for charity.

Everyone got dressed up smartly and we had a fun night. We auctioned off the signed poster too.
