The Adventures of James Bond Junior "003 1/2"

Found this book a while back at a antique store for $2.00. At the time i had no idea what it was because its so crappy no one cares about it. Its actually seeming to be pretty rare. I just thought it was cool because i found it for $2.
Ever heard of it? What did you think?




This is suppose to be James Bond's nephew... he never had brothers of sisters... so it doesn't make sense, but whatever. And even if he did, im sure they wouldn't give him the same name.

It's okay, but very dated. It reminded me of the Famous Five books. You got a good deal there for $2 as it's long been out of print and probably won't be released again.

Silly it may be. But it brings back memories. My Mother got it from the library for me. Sad to say that was just a couple of years after it was published. Another reminder I'm getting an old git...

It's really not that bad if you go into it not expecting much other than a young boy's adventure. No where near as entertaining as the Young Bond novels, but if I had to pick one it most resembled, it'd probably be SilverFin.

Worth a read if you're a literary Bond completist.

I managed to pick up a virtually mint copy of this US version many years ago for only a couple of quid. What made it more exciting for me was that it appeared to be a version made for schools, the "Random House Reading Program" (US spelling, not mine), which included seven cards with questions etc for the pupils.

Wow. Amazed you found it with those, considering it's age and the fact it was primarily for kids (hence the throwing away/loss of those cards seems extremely probable).
