Yes, I know, I made a simillar thread early last year, but rumours have being going around that the climax of Quantum of Solace will involve

So looking at this, I can simply say that this will be the ideal title, if the Producers decide to go for another Fleming title, which I have a feeling they will. And NO I dont have an obsession with the title... but I really want this to be used sometime in the future!

If they chose that title it would be fine by me. It is Fleming and would have relevance to the story. I hope the chances are high of it being used, because I thought it was going to be the title of Bond 22. I just hope they use it, Bond 23 is a prime oppurtunity!

though i have expressed interest for both Risico and The Hildebrand Rarity as future titles. Truthfully so long as bond 23 is a fleming title i'd be just as excited with bond returning in

I don't like Risico as a film title. I know it has ties to Fleming, but it doesn't actually mean anything. I know it's supposed to be Italian for "risk", but it's not. "Rischio" is the Italian work for risk, according to Babelfish, and kowing some of the rules of grammar in the Italian language, the spelling of "risk" is entirely contextual. "Risico" doesn't sound mysterious, exotic or even remotely intriguing. It sounds like exactly what it is: an English bastardisation of a foreign word.

Well i was going ot put this in my intial post.....

I'm also well aware that each of the remaing fleming titles have groups who dislike it for one reason or another.

Risico some consider a title that fall flat and Captain does a good job of pointing out the major flaw

The Hildebrand rarity seems to some to weird a title especially after Quantum of Solace

and of course
The property of a lady some have cited as being too romantic.

and Everyone is entitled to their opnions Risico i would like to defend as possibly changing the meaning entirly and having it become the name of a weapon, mission, or the last name of a villian

but of course i must connfess right now THR and TPOAL are my 2 favourites.

A motor boat or a row boat? Because they have entirely different sounds.

But yes, I've always thought that the Vesper connection could be important to using the title THE PROPERTY OF A LADY.

Actually, it might be a few of us. I think the remaining titles would work regardless, because they are, after all, attached to a Bond movie. And none will require any more explaining than QoS has, and will probably be easier to explain at that.

true

Risico is the most versitile of the fleming names

however the lady in POAL could refer to M and the fact bond's 00 licecne is ...

I mean with the right imagianiton POAL could become just as versitile.

The Hidlebrand Rarity doesn't have to reffer to the fish (thuogh it could) it could refer to a strain of biological warfare (wich the garden of death could play a part in)

I could refference Reflections in a Carey Caddilac but i don't like the title and it's not that i feel it's unsuitable for a film (i've prepared myself that even Undertaker's wind is fair game and i really don't like that one) however my feelings could change.....

While I don't doubt the title is being considered by EON, being as it's the best title that lends itself to a Bond movie, I think it sounds too romance novel, or mini-series of the week on broadcast television.

Leave it to marketing at Sony to push "Risico" on the production. Makes for better advertising. Or better yet, they'd probably just ask EON to call it:

"James Bond 23: Kill Harder"

Or:

"James Bond and the Chamber of Death"

Whatever happened to Aquator? Can we set up a poll to elect this classic, constantly rumoured and discarded title for B23?

Niothing against Aquator.

but my feeling if it's a bond film with a fleming feel and Fleming styled bond..

which certanitly decibes Bond films they are dcurrently making

they should give it a fleming title.

Right?

Though (and some dis agree on this) I'm not oppsoed to chapter titles being used as film titles as some of them like

Nature of Evil
Valley of Shadows
A whisper of hate

all are as cool as Risico or Property of a lady.

However POAL for bond 23 would be fine by me Though right now I'd put my money on another fleming title but i'm probably wrong....

I'm currently thinking The Hildebrand Rarirrty with possibly Hildebrand being the last name of villian in bond 23.

That 007 thing just confirms it

I'd be more convinced if there was stronger reason to believe that B23 will follow on from Quantum of Solace - I have the impression that there's not intention for it to be a direct sequel. (which doesn't mean there can't be a connection)
