In the past I'd scoff at Tony Scott as the director. But since he was on the short list for QoS, I could definately see him being approached for the next one.

As for if it'll be YOLT or not? Why not wait until Bond 24?

Tony Scott could quite possibly do something rather interesting with Bond. Yes, that is something I don't think I'd mind taking a chance on...

And as for YOLT, I would certainly love to see that material used someday, somehow...

Tony Scott...as long as he's in his True Romance, rather than Domino, form.

I don't think Tony Scott should direct a Bond film. I saw Deja Vu when it came out and the man used such a wide-angle lens that at times it was like watching a game of tennis because Val Kilmer and Denzel Washington were at the extreme opposites of the screen and we were going back and forth, back and forth during all the dialogue.

So long as ti's as good as Casino Royale and what looks to be as good as Quantum of Solace i'm happy.

Tony Scott? Absolutely yes! Ridley wouldn't be a bad idea either, I think.

If they keep the same style from CR & QOS, of course!

On to other wishes?

Get Paul Haggis back by granting him what he's certain to demand: absolute assurance that the toddler rewriting his QoS script won't be allowed within a hundred miles of his work again.

But if that doesn't sit well with y'all:

Could we please, could we pretty please, have a charismatic, absolutely mesmerizing villain?

My wishes

1. A Fleming title please. Now if they wanna save POAL Risioc orTHR for future bond actors fine I'll consent and say use a chapter title. my top 3

The Nature of Evil
A whisper of Hate
Valley Of
-----ShadOws
----------7

2. Physical action sequences. What do i mean by this Casino Royale had the madigascar chase
Spoiler

3. I'd like Quantum to be at least indirectly apart of the story line ( idon't want the head of quantum to be revealled till bond 24/25 with the final wrap up bond 25/26)

4. give us fleming characters

oh who am i kidding give us a film in a simlar vein of Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale put in some fleming charachters that hacven't gotten the big screen treatment (even if it's just like 2-3 minute scene) and a Fleming title (either short story or chapter) and I'd be HAPPY.

Of course if Bond 23 is announced to be Colonel Sun or a post fleming novel i'd still be on cloud 9 .

If Bond 23 was Colonel Sun i think many others would also be on cloud 9.

I've got ambitious, unconventional and unorthodox ideas for Bond 23 and 24 and 25. I'm getting them together. Will post them soon.

Agreed. These names need to be used. I would hope Gala's name would apply to a character faithful to the one in the novel; I believe she's one of Fleming's best-written characters.

What would everybody think if the producers decided to go ahead with a faithful adaptation of Fleming's TSWLM, with Craig's Bond not showing up until the last third of the film? I know it won't happen, but I think it would kind of interesting to see filmed (for us Bond fans anyway).
