Finally! The fifth and last Young Bond novel has been titled. It's a tough choice but I think my favourite title is By Royal Command because of it's similarity to On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

I'm going with SilverFin because I think it perfectly captured and encapsulated the concept of a "Young Bond novel" right off the bat. I remember Charlie talking about it one of our interviews, how it had a junior quality to it, how it was "silver - not quite gold." Also, now that the series is nearing the end and has proven such a successful part the Bond world, SilverFin feels classic to me.

Double Or Die has a real Bond feel to it, Young Bond or not. So that was my selection. But By Royal Command does have a nice sound to it.

I like all the Young Bond titles. Not one dud in there. I do like 'By Royal Command' though. It has a nice ring to it. It sounds elitist, an heir of superiority with a dash of espionage and urgency. It seems they have saved the best until last.

I'll go with Hurricane Gold.

It sounds powerful, adventurous, and I suppose the Gold part of the name also makes it Bondian.

By Royal Command. By Royal Command went a hard match against Silverfin. I think Silverfin has a classic touch of the YB books and is like Casino Royale of Flemings Bond. BRC is like Flemings OHMSS. Bloodfever and Hurricane Gold is average titles. Double or Die makes me think of a Steven Seagal or J-C Van Damme movie. Yes, BRC wins with a small margin.
