Okay, here's the place to get it off your chest. What little things in the Bond films irritate you? Not the BIG things, I mean the little things - things that are not a big deal, but they just irritate you and you wonder why they did it that way.

Here are some of my irritations...

1. The woman's hands at the start of the Goldfinger title sequence. Her hands look like they belong to a Rugby player. Not pretty at all - the pinky looks like it's been broken a couple of times.
2. The slide whistle in the middle of one of the world's greatest film stunts (the barrel roll in TMWTGG).
3. The fact that the circle of film with Bond walking out never quite matched the circle in the gunbarrel cutout in the early gunbarrel sequences. Is it really THAT hard to make them match up?
4. For that matter, Connery's wobble in his gunbarrel sequence kindof irritates me.
5. The little hop in the pre-Connery gunbarrel sequences.
6. Sheriff Pepper (in both films).

What are some of your LITTLE irritations - your little pet pieves?

-The fact that Bond isn't perfectly centered in the gun barrel in the early Connery films.

-That some of the vehicle chase scenes go on so long they lose my attention.

-The witless one-liners in the Brosnan era.

The big irritations are pretty universal. It's harder to pick little pet peeves, but here we go:-

Koskov not getting killed on screen in TLD

Slide whistle in TMWTGG

Blofeld not being shown clearly dead at the end of DAF

Graves being the bad guy in DAD, rather than a Korean actor.

When Brosnan walks/runs down the stairs at the very beginning of GoldenEye - always looked very posey and camp to me.

Hey, Dave Bond, I did a fun edit on my computer where I cut out the scene where he jumps out of the truck and the end result is "BOOM!", it looks just like he was killed in the truck and never got out. Much more dramatic and he had it coming.

Normally yes, but since that movie is filled with so many irritations, I'd have to say they all dilute themselves in potency, therefore making her only a minor irritation. :D

Yuck. Could've only been worse if he had a mullet.

I thought he was channeling Dalton with that.

LOL @ the broken finger and moustache.

When Connery is swimming around with that goofy looking jetpack in Thunderball like he's Admiral Aquaman or Dudley Do-right of the Seas and the yellow bubbles look like toxic waste being released.
Or when the scientist is untying Domino while explaining he only did what he was told to do, this exposition just seems really forced.

Renard being such a letdown after a great build up in TWINE.
And the line' " For centuries Hindu pilgrims have journeyed here to witness the miiracleofthe eternalflamesthatneverdie" or whatever it was. Clunky as hell.

I totally agree. Awful line, badly delivered. Yuck!

Moneypenny's smile to Bond after she says "What about the rest of you?" in For Your Eyes Only.

It's just so odd.

In TB, when Largo rips off Bond's blue ski mask then Bond puts on a dead SPECTRE frogman's black ski mask and the nis ski mask turns blue again. I noticed that the 1st time when I saw it on TV as a kid it was so obvious. Doesn't mar the ulimate superBond film, though.
