Makes one wonder if Faulks will be reading either (or even both) of them! :D

I have been listening to the Devil May Care audio book by Jeremy Northam. It really does bring the novel to life. I started reading the book and though well written seemed flat. Jeremy Northam has really brought it to life and in fact made me realise that Sebastian Faulkes is a great dialogue writer. Still think the plot is so, so though.

I started listening to the audio book yesterday and was surprised by Northam's pronunciation of a few names. I would think that characters we know from the films would have their names pronounced the same in his readings, so I thought I heard wrong the first time I heard Mathis referred to as "Matt-eee". I listened more closely and found I wasn't imagining it any more than when Felix Leiter was pronounced "Lee-ter" instead of "lighter".
