It's the only Benson I've read, and it's by far the worst Bond book I've ever read (maybe one of the worst books, Bond or not). Some amateur fan fiction authors have made a better job.
But to be honest, I must say that it also the only novelization I've read, and my disapontment certainly has to do with the genre.
Anyway, I can't remember the exact words, but the description of Bond having sex with Elektra was so childish and worthless the book almost fell off my hands! Something like "... he made love to her three times, and then she couldn't help confess to him no man ever had made her come like that". I thought to myself "No, it's not possible, I' not reading that!" :D

I quote it from memory, not verbatim, but it's what I remember from the scene. Perhaps someone here could help restoring the original text, quoting from the book?

'She admitted that none of her former lovers had come near satisfying her the way Bond had.'

OK, I acknowledge it, it's a bit different. Sorry for misquoting.
But I persist in thinking that it's really not good...
