Will also be doing the 'Final Fling' cover

Our buddy over at Double O Section has landed an exclusive interview with the cover artist who did the Secret Servant paperback (a great cover). Check it out.

Interesting stuff - funny she wasn't actually told that Kate Westbrook was an alias.

Can't wait to see The Moneypenny Diaries: Final Fling cover art, but I kinda wish we were getting another Chopping-esque cover for the UK hardback, if only for the sake of completeness.

Agreed, though; The Moneypenny Diaries: Secret Servant is an excellent cover.

Excellent interview. Love hearing from those who usually go overlooked when it comes to the world of Bond.

Nice work. :cooltongue:

...and yes, it is a fantastic cover.

Hey, check it out. Samantha Weinberg herself has commented on Double O Section's interview. Added some interesting info:

Samantha said...
Hi. Great interview - thanks. Just some clarification: I asked to speak to Stina when she was commissioned to do the cover (which I love, as I do the hardback of Vol 3), but the powers-that-be at John Murray didn't think it was necessary. Similarly, I offered to write a detailed synopsis of the story, but again they thought that might distract her from the cover brief. The cover of Vol 3 has now been finalised without anyone having read a word of the book! Still, I think she's done a wonderful job, and I hope we persuade John Murray to re-jacket the first book before the centenary.
Thanks again - what luck to find this.
Samantha/Kate

That could be quite cool!
