It's good that he doesn't look Bondian in public for these things. Helps us to remember that he's an actor first, not just Bond.

Based on how he looked in Layer Cake, I'd say his "out of shape" is still pretty fit.

I remember after the first Spiderman film came out, there were some very unflattering pictures of a much chunkier Toby McGuire that surfaced.. I have yet to see a pic of Craig with anything close to a beer gut (or a gut at all!)
