Jolie wants to be the first female 007
I never want to see her associated with the Bond films.

And about this 3rd world stuff, since Earth is the 3rd planet from Sol, aren't all the countries 3rd world countries? Just as the countries on Venus are 2nd world countries and Mars are 4th world countries? Oh and did I mention that on Junpiter they are 5th world... Okay, I'll knock it off.

Personally, I think her ship has already sailed, down the 'let's get skinny' Sea.Well she was Lara Croft - what more does she want? That's enough. Anyway as gorgeous as she was, now that she is travelling on the 'lets get skinny' Hollywood route, she is quickly losing her looks. Not much time for her left even to play Modesty Blaise even if she is interested!

Still, I'd pay to see her in another action/spy role just on her own. No Pitt allowed.

It was called Tomb Raider. It failed.
The reverse Bond girl or "Tomb Raider Guy", as the franchise is calling it, was good though ---- Dirk Cragington or something to that extent. Fine actor...always thought he'd make a good Bond. Very Flemmming-esque.

Good Lord! There's an awful lot of vitriol about on CB.n today. I hope it's not catching. No, I don't want her to be JB either, but she probably never said any such thing.
Yeah, it's that old blues song. You know--Stormy Funday?

Wasn't Jinx supposed to be a 'female Bond'?
Her character definitely seemed to be.

Actually I think his name was Craig Danning or something. I dunno, he'd probably be good but I'm sure alot of people would complain because he's not Brosnan or something.

If she wants to be Bond so badly, let her team up with Tarantino and make the long-awaited Modesty Blaise film. That is as close as she will ever get to being Bond.
There you go.

Gosh I saw a picture of her yesterday. What is she doing? She looked pretty bad. And she's looking like her dad. Yikes! )
Jennifer Anniston has learned voodoo and is working it.

1)Angelina Jolie is still a strikingly beautiful woman. Unfortunately, she has lost too much weight and the incessant wave of gossip about her personal life has caused her to lose some of her luster as a sex symbol. Not a Britney Spears-caliber fall from grace, to be sure, but she is still somehow less appealing than she was pre-Pitt.
2)I could see her as a Bond girl in the right film, but never as the first female 007. Putting aside how wrong the idea of changing Bond's gender rubs me, I'd say Miss Jolie's box-office record is not equal to her top-heavy sex appeal. She's only really had two big hits since her GIRL, INTERRUPTED days...
3)...one of which, contrary to what someone wrote here, was TOMB RAIDER. The sequel flopped, but through no fault of Miss Jolie's. She was actually rather good in the role in both films, and certainly had the physical attributes that Lara Croft fans wanted to see on the big screen. The scripts were just not up to par.
4)These "I want to be the first [insert gender, ethnic or minority label here] James Bond!" stories are ridiculous. Not only is it unlikely that any of these scenarios will play out anytime soon, but it is almost inconceivable that an established star of today (even one who is looking to revive a flagging career) will be the one to fill the role if such a thing did occur. By the time the makers of the two consecutive "most successful" James Bond films of all time decide they need to pull a stunt like this, Miss Jolie and Diddy and every other celebrity 007-wannabe will be collecting Social Security checks.
