Let's hear it... give a top ten of you favourite heroes (at this moment), and add a little note why. I know maybe you've got dozens of heroes, but let's stick to "10". I'll start with my list! Beginning at 10...to end with NUMERO UNO!! :cooltongue:

10.Dracula (I love the way he bites... :D )
9. Cat woman (I know, only one girl in my top ten, but what a girl)
8. Ace Frehley (he's the reason why I bought a guitar at age 13)
7. Dr.Who (he's crazy... no?!)
6. Kirk (memory-lane!)
5. Batman (My childhood hero!)
4. Mad Max (painted my car in black after seeing it!)
3. Indiana Jones (the coolest archeologist)
2. Han Solo (I miss him!)
1. James Bond (guess 'Graig' has something to do with it!)

Now, send in those lists...!

10-Superman (he's just so...invincible-stay away from kryptonite)
9-Batman{the batcave is awesome}
8-Dr. Who [he's British]
7-Captain Kirk ('The Trouble with Tribbles was funny)
6-Luke Skywalker [Saves the galaxy (who doesn't like that?)]
5-Indiana Jones {brought action to boring archeaology}
4-Maxwell Smart [Well, he wasn't]
3-Captain Malcom Reynolds. He's just so witty. {sort of inspires me, even though he is fictional}
2-William Adama (nuBSG) {kicks Cylon [censored], and he's just so tough} - He took two rounds in the chest.!!! :cooltongue:
1-JAMES BOND [{(He is the best hero there is)}]

10 - Michael Corleone (He's the Godfather, his life influences reality, not the other way round, LOL)
9 -Batman (Lonesone millionaire with style and a mission... and many unresolved issues)
8 - Maximus ( a cocktail of Stoicism, military skill and pure guts)
7 - The Shadow ( noirish anti-hero. Two words that appeal to me very much)
6 - Philip Marlowe (Hard drinking, chain smoking private eye with a very philosophical inner person. I like that)
5 - Doc Savage (A Renaissance man)
4 - Kurt Austin (He works for the same organization as Dirk Pitt!LOL)
3 - Dirk Pitt (He's Dirk Pitt!)
2 - Indiana Jones (Never Archeology has been such a thrill)
1 - James Bond ( The thing that first atrracted me to JB was no doubt his self-confidence. Impressive)

I'm sticking to fictional ones for now.

10: The Shadow (Remember, without him there would be no Batman)
9: Count Duckula (Childhood favourite. Like Dracula, but nicer)
8: Simon Templar (He's a Saint!)
7: The Punisher (He's no Saint!)
6: Judge Dredd (Like a policeman, but cooler)
5: Robocop (A lot like a policeman, but a lot cooler)
4: Dick Tracy (A more colourful Phillip Marlowe)
3: Paul Kersey (Like Batman without all the costume nonsense)
2: Batman (The Bat's still cool, though)
1: James Bond (I'm not going to rock the boat here)

10. BLADE Wesley Snipes made him bad[censored] in the films and the new comic installment is doing this character justice.

9. JUDGE DREDD Always been a fan of this character since my childhood; didn't care much for the movie though.

8. THE SHADOW No Shadow, no inspiration for Batman.

7. BLACK PANTHER A really, really underrrated superhero IMO. Underused as well. The Priest run was just awesome but that was the late 90s...

6. THE SAINT Roger Moore fit the character like a glove more than he ever was Bond. George Sanders was very cool too.

5. CAPT. KIRK Played Kirk as a kid at recess...if I couldn't be Kirk I didn't play. Besides, he got all of the babes on the show.

4. (TIE) THE SPIRIT Will Eisner's detective is legendary.

DIRTY HARRY Duh! It's Clint!

3. DICK TRACY The one comic strip character that got me into the genre. Thank you, Mr. Gould.

2. JAMES BOND Suave, deadly, dapper...Just awesome but cannot oust...

1. BATMAN The Dark Knight rules in the world of Number 6... :cooltongue:

Please understand, my list can fluctuate at anytime with the exception of The Dark Knight...y'know...like the stock market.

I'll stick to only the fictional ones for now too! Otherwise you'd end up seeing people ranging from Fleming to Winston Churchill to Bryce to Liv Tyler to Robert Frost to Mata Hari on my list! Wait, I think a gave away a huge chunk of the list away... lol! Anyways, we need a thread for that one too! Lol! Here's the "fictional hero" list.

10) Captain Underpants ("STOP in the name of underwear! I fight for anything that is pre-shrunk and cottony!"... Seriously, MY superhero! Best humor in the world and I'd kill for such a principle!)
9) Maverick from Top Gun (Am SOOOOO gonna have to use that line about [censored] and wingmates at my graduation! He totally inspires me and I guess it's just in my blood since my dad's a pilot n all!)
8) Veralidaine Sarrasri (ALL of Tamora Pierce's characters rock, but Daine is seriously the coolest of them! I want her hair too. Lol!)
7) Aragorn (That whole poem that starts with "All that is gold does not glitter" and ends with "the crownless again shall be king" is my fave poem, hands down. Totally inspirational!)
6) Anakin Solo (Han Solo's son... and I thought Han was cute? Anakin is far and beyond just "cute"... *drools* And he's brave, charming, everything a girl could ask.. wait! see #1 on list for more! :cooltongue: )
5) Eowyn ("No living man am I!" Girl power! I heart the shieldmaiden!)
4) Gala Brand. (The reason why I started to actually like my name!)
3) Miranda Frost. (Keeps me motivated in the whole "Operation Ivy" application process and makes me realize that sometimes it's OKAY for a girl to be bad when she wants to be.)
2) Jaina Solo. (She's just me, but an updated version... wish I had her courage in all aspects, I really do! Plus she's Han Solo's daughter, how cool is that!)
1) James Bond. (Keeps a single, "I'm too good to date guys at school" girl sane and feel VERY much loved with as much as a DVD)

Here is my top 10, I like my list :

10) Batman - He doesn't need superpowers to be a superhero, and he is also intellectual.

9) Audrey Hepburn - Gorgeous, Great Actress, Fashion Icon, and a Former UNICEF ambassador.

8) Princess Jasmine - My favorite Disney Character when I was little. She was beautiful, had a cool outfit and a VERY cute boyfriend/husband  who had a magic carpet, a genie and a monkey.

7) Kelly Garrett - She is my favorite Angel, she has the looks, personality, and witty one-liners. Jacyln Smith should have been a Bond Girl.

6) Indiana Jones - He made me love archaeology alot!!

5) Atticus Finch - Strong sense of morality and justice, wisdom, and empathy.

4) James Bond - Suave, Dangerous and a true gentleman. What a MAN!!

3) Princess Diana - The People's Princess. Call me Diana, not Princess Diana.

2) Pussy Galore/Teresa Di Vicenzo/Melina Havelock - These ladies are hard to seperate, so I'll just put them together in one slot. IMO, these are the strogest girls in the series. A young girl can look up to them.

1) Clarice Starling - Grasping, brave, efficient and intelligent, and noble, she doesn't take :cooltongue: from anyone.
