I have added these new codes the forum for everyone's use.

[box]] ... [/film]
-- or --
[f] ... [/f]
-- or --
[4][ ... ]

If a Bond film's acronym is entered between
][/2] and [/film] the forum will spell out the film's title, bold the title, and make it a link to CBn's section about that film. There should be no spaces before or after the acronym.

The [f] ... [/f] tag behaves identically to the
] ... [[/2]/film] tag.

The [ ... ] tag behaves identically to the
] ... [[/2]/film] tag.

EXAMPLES:
[film]dad[/film] will appear in the forums as
Die Another Day.
[f]dad[/f] will appear in the forums as Die Another Day.
[dad] will appear in the forums as Die Another Day.

Film Acronym List

dn ... Dr. No
frwl ... [film=95]From Russia With Love
gf ... [film=96]Goldfinger
tb ... [film=97]Thunderball
yolt ... [film=98]You Only Live Twice
ohmss ... [film=99]On Her Majesty

Are you talking about the ones in my post above? They still work for me.

Maybe it's because you're not wearing the secret decoder ring.

Just a few notes here.

With the new forums the film acronyms need only be surrounded by brackets [ and ]. (So you can use [dad] now instead of [film]dad[/film] or [f]dad[/f].)

Also the all acronyms can now be in upper- or lower-case.

The acronym

Just a minor quibble.

I notice we now have the U.S. spelling for "Licence" in License To Kill, whereas before we had the British spelling.

Any reason for that?

[is the movie called "License to Kill" on U.S. prints?]

No, as living in the US, it is spelled 'Licence To Kill' I believe, at least on all the posters and movie boxes I have seen. Including the MGM/UA and CBS/Fox video and DVD releases, it is spleeled 'Licence". Hope this helps! :)

I just want to go on record that the Brit, Dave, made that spelling error. :) And no the American version is
