Has anyone else noticed this? When channel 9 advertises upcoming programs (like the upcoming return of Nip/Tuck) the CR trailer version of the Bond theme can be heard. Also, Channel 9 is going crazy with TV spots. I'm sitting here at 3am with Channel 9 on and it won't pass through one commercial break without some reference to Bond (and no, I'm not complaining).


PS Craig will be interviewed on the upcoming episode of Getaway.

Yes, I've noticed this too. The gunbarrel also gets used and the show titles are in the style of the CASINO ROYALE logo.

Can't say I've ever seen a TV network associating its station promos with Bond in such a big way.

Just checked their site and it does not seem that one can view/download this.

Also, tonight the ABC program At The Movies reviewed Casino Royale. Bother reviewers gave the film four stars and seemed pretty impressed with both Craig and Casino Royale.

One more week to go guys.

A local news station in NY used to use "007" from FRWL as intro music.

The tv spots are all over Foxtel.

There was also a really good set of interviews on Showtime Movie News a week or two ago.

BC, the episode of At The Movies is playable on the ABC site. (I believe in the video on demand section) you want to watch the 22 minute clip, not the 'casino royale' clip (5 minutes) as it just plays the trailer and all the released film clips (in remarkable quality)

G'day Maybe Eddie McGuire the manager of Channel 9 is a James Bond Fan.

I watched the Getaway program, there wasn't much of a interview and the same clip from the chase of the Bomber with Daniel Graig running up the crane on the incline.

The Movie Show surprised me Margret actually agreed with David and some good clips for change. I can't take Margrets Laugh its as bad as Mary Harts voice.

Nice to know who the other Aussies are, yep one week and i am going to go Gold Class in the good chairs i figure my back will take that. I hope it will. Its a birthday gift from my Bro. Can not Wait.

I can NOT wait. I won a competition in the newspaper to go to the Dec 4 Casino Royale advance screening this Monday, 250 people out of the whole state of WA! It will be a royal treat, then 2nd viewing on Thursday!

The movie show on ABC, David's picky complaint of why the PTS features Bond acquiring his 00 licence, I mean come on! Margaret put him in his place by saying it is different, a dark time in his life. Right on!

I probably should've mentioned this earlier but Daniel Craig, Martin Campbell and Caterina Munrino were all interviewed on A Current Affair tonight. Although all three of them were there Daniel did most of the talking and come off rather well. There was nothing really revelatory or earth shattering if you missed it.

Shame none of them were interviewed on David & Kim, as much as I loathe daytime tv, and particularly the 'GMA/Morning's' format, David & Kim are very good interviewers and the show is actually intelligent discussion.
