Have there been any recent reprintings of "Colonel Sun," either in the United States or the United Kingdom? Does anyone have any information on the latest printing? Or should I immediately begin searching the local second hand stores? I'd like to purchase a new copy of this particular novel but I'm sure it's the hardest to find of all the novels.

Whilst shopping around in Jakarta I discovered a secondhand bookshop that stocked a large range of novels in English.
There were quite a few 1991 Coronet prints of Colonel Sun, which were for the Australian market and seemed unread. They were most likely unsold stock from Aussie bookshops.
At about US$2 each, I snapped up a couple of copies.
I'm lead to believe that Blue Eyes doesn't have a copy of CS.

Are the Coronet reprints the paperbacks with 'James Bond' in huge white capitals and '007' vertically up the 'D' of Bond?
If so, I remember seeing those, but I looked at them, and they were horrible pritings, the ink looked as if it had run.
For the record, the only time I read The Property of a Lady was in Chapters while picking up a Coronet (or was it a Coronet?) paperback of Octopussy&The Living Daylights.

It is extremely hard to find. A few of the same kind have turned up on Ebay recently and have been going cheap. About

Colonel Sun is out-of-print in both the US and UK (it is not a part of the new re-issues for the first time). The last printing in the UK was by Coronet in 1998 and featured cover art showing a knife shaving bamboo. The last printing in the US was by Harper Paperbacks in 1993 and showed, well, easier to post a pic (below) than describe that cover.
But Colonel Sun is not hard to find in second hand bookstores. Good luck.

If you're looking for a copy on the internet try:
abebooks.com
bookfinder.com
half.com (if you're in the US)
Those are great sites and usually where I go for my out of print book needs. And, of course, e.bay.

I thought the "Robert Markham with a special introduction by Kingsley Amis" a bit cutesy.

I had a chance to pick up that 1998 Coronet reprint and I passed it up...damn!
but I think it's pretty easy to find older copies online, I used the advanced book exchange and had a copy for like seven bucks, it is the hardest to find, but not impossible...

Uh, a few months ago, I got a UK 1st Ed. on Ebay for $31 US. It's in very good condition. I'm not that into collecting but is this a good thing? And if it is, how much do you think it's worth?
