I started this Map cause I thought it would be cool to visually see the locations of everyone here on CBn. When you place yourself on the man, please type in your CBn screen name under "Name" (it'll make it easier to know who's who)

http://www.frappr.com/cbn (click "Add Yourself" on the Left)

Examples on how to add your location:
Denpasar, Bali (Indonesia)
London, England (United Kingdom)
Huttwil, Bern (Switzerland)
Paris, Ile-de-France (France)
Toronto, Ontario (Canada)
Athens, Attiki (Greece)
Vancouver, Washington (US)

Tried to add and failed. It doesn't seem to recognise 'Sutton', 'Croydon' or 'London, England'- I click the choice and it enters 'undefined'. (Love the way 'London, Arkansas' is on the list above 'London, England'!)

Is it 'cause I is Mac?

I had that too, mtm. Try typing 'London, England, United Kingdom' manually and it should work.

Great idea! I was stunned that Bamberg is actually on the map. It's not such a big city. Fine work, Athena! :)

I typed 'London, United Kingdom' and it worked for me using Safari. Be sure to include a message in the 'Shout' box because I forgot to at first and nothing happened.

The map should focus on the UK now and not on Mr* :)

As for London... I noticed you have to type "Longdon, England (United Kingdom)"
...Hope that helps.

Good stuff, cool idea Athena. Is there a way to "zoom out" and see a "population density" type display with a bunch (well, a few right now) of lil' dots?

That's funny... zencat and I live in the same house, yet when I zoom in on the satellite view it's got me down in Hollywood between Sunset and Santa Monica and zencat's up in the Hollywood Hills on the wrong side of Laurel Canyon. LOL... :) It's ok... it gives a nice general idea as to were people are and it's Frappr's Beta version. :)
