Very nice, very detailed report, Athena.

Sounds like a great time. I wish I could attend one of these. Maybe someday. :)

Great report, Athena. Very nicely done. :)

We enjoyed views of the New York City skyline from the island and took the suspended Roosevelt Island Tram, which runs parallel to the Roosevelt Island Bridge, back to Manhattan. The suspended Tram was used in Spider-Man (2002) and had a very Moonraker feel about it. Upon retuning to the city, we passed the spot where James Bond ditches his car in the novel Live & Let Die.

...That sounds very, very cool. Would have loved to been on there and seen the view.

Jeff Marshall is probably the only person who can answer this but, I'll throw it out there-why is Dalton's face the most prominent on the BCW 8 print? If memory serves, neither of his films had any scenes filmed in NY. Theoretically, it should be Roger's face that is most prominent on that print.

Yeah, you know. I was wondering that same thing.

Mr. Dalton has a very 'NYC' look to him in that pose, I guess :)

Thank you Athena for a great story. After a great night at Charlie's place, I seem to have misplaced my memories of Sunday :)

Great time, and I look forward to BCW9 where I may have room to bring my prized 'Pussy' along...if there's room :)

You know, there is one very Bondian memory of BCW8 that I can now share. On our last day in NY I logged on to check my email. I had to sit in the open doorway of our hotel room for the wireless to work. Athena was still asleep.

As soon as I logged on an IM popped up on my screen. It was from one of my best sources. All the IM said was....

"Craig, Daniel Craig."

I think he was trying to tell me something. :)

That was great, Athena. Again sorry I missed you guys. Now in the "It is just too funny dept." On thursday evening while your group was dining. I was at work, right across the street from Taven on the Green. Who knew. :)

Here's my write-up. I didn't take notes on what locations we visited (Athena did such a great job of remembering each spot) this is more of a diary.
