They are very cool. I have almost a complete set, all I'm missing is COLD. I think the only Gardner book that wasn't done in large print is LTK (there is a GoldenEye LP).

Any idea what the Cold one looks like zen?

That's the regular first edition, not the large print. The large print looks similar (same artwork), but the lettering is white.

Good find though, Gri007. The first edition COLD is a rare book and the price here is still low.

One wonders how fast that one will shoot up though.

Have the large prints got bigger hardbacks then. If so I might have a couple.

They should say on the spine/in the book if they're large print.

Here is a scan of cover. I do not believe that this version came with a DJ....or at least mine did not. It was printed by Compass Press in the UK (a division of ISIS publishing) in 1997. Hope that helps.

Very cool - thanks. And I don't think many of the Large Prints come with a DJ.

I got a Scorpius large print edition. I must confess that the artwork doesn't seem much impressive to me.

That's one of the odder covers for that large print book in my opinion.

I have four of them with DJ's (LICENCE, ROLE, NOBODY and BARBAROSSA) and I am sure there are a few other out there.

Also, there are two LP versions of SCORPIOUS (ISIS and THORNDIKE printings), but I have not found that to be the case with any of the other titles.

By the by, there is a LP version of COLD on E-Bay right now from a seller in Australia and, as of now, the price is quite reasonable.

Is the cover art the same for both Scorpius LP's?

No, they are both different, but neither one is very inspired.

Looks like I have to track down that ISIS edition. I didn't know about this. Thanks, FLEMINGFAN.

BTW, I got that COLD on eBay, the last book I needed, now I have a complete set of Gardner LPs. Yipee!

Found one in "poor" condition on ABE. Think I'll hold off. You wouldn't happen to have a scan of the cover, would ya FLEM?

Glad to hear you snagged that COLD, and at a good price. They do not show up too often.

I will shoot you off a note if I see the ISIS edition of SCORPIUS offered anywhere.

Just a little list I put together - mostly for myself for easier collecting purposes. :)

List moved to first post in thread.

I was under the impressions that the LP of Nobody Lives Forever didn't come with a dustjacket?

Great list, Qwert-O. To add to it -- there is a LP Icebreaker hardback by Landmark. Connery is on cover.

Me too. The one I'm thinking about is the Landmark orange and black cover with the title (no image). Is there another?

Hey, it's young Bond!

Interesting. Thanks. Now that I see this, I might break down and get that "poor" edition as a place holder.

I just picked up an ISIS Win Lose or Die and a Chivers Nobody Lives Forever.

Also noticed an ISIS Icebreaker (but is this the same as Landmark?).

When I get these new books in the mail, maybe I will pull all my Gardner LPs from storage and photograph them so we will have a visual checklist.
