Is there any variation in cover art for the DIE ANOTHER DAY large print? It's the only Benson large print I'm missing, I believe.

No, not much variation at all, unfortunately.

Being released so long after the film, I'm hoping they will do something new with TWINE cover. I mean, it's hardly a tie-in at this point.

The DAD large print came and went very fast. I suspect TWINE will as well.

Large prints often come out at totally different times from some publications, I thought.

This is just a Large Print version, too soon for a whole set of reprints IMO. Plus they've got Young Bond going now.

Judging by the fonts, the cover designer is a fan of Grand Theft Auto series:)

Mr. Asterix points out something interesting...nowhere on the cover does it indicate this is a "James Bond 007" novel. Sort of curious that.

James Bond is mentioned on the cover - certainly the one I have anyway - although "007" isn't. Just above Raymond Benson's name, in the shaded area, it does say "Takes James Bond to new levels of danger, intrigue and non-stop action". Certainly not an overt mention though.

I've also noticed that the images aren't exactly from the film either. when do we see the Thames at dusk in TWINE?. Saves them paying money to purchase the rights to use images from the film.

It looks good but i'am afraid film novelisations don't appeal to me really.

Oh! Then this isn't the final cover? I have a copy of the book on the way, but I've yet to get it. This was the cover sent to me by the publisher. I will strike the sentence about there being no mention of Bond on the cover. Thanks, Sir Miles. :)

No probs zencat. I got my copy a couple of days ago and it did seem odd that Raymond Benson gets the big bold typeface whilst the name James Bond is tucked away in the top corner.

I guess you never really know what a book will look like until you have it in hand. How many pics of the SilverFin cover did we see...and then when the book arrives it's this sparkly thing. I remember being completely surprised when I got the TND noveliztion and the cover was completely different from what was on Amazon.

You did - but I didn't (and should have) jump on it quick enough. :)

Seems like I've got a little wait for mine, but at least it's coming.

FYI, I have my copy in hand. The autual cover not only has the additional tagline (as noted above by Sir Miles), but also includes the "Based on a screenplay by P&W" credit along the bottom. Text is from the UK version.

Hi!

In the text from May 23 there was also mentioned a new German Casino Royale edition. (I know this is a little bit off topic).
Just wanted to say that you can order it now. You can have a look at the complete cover artwork on http://www.ianfleming.de (direct link: http://www.ianfleming.de/240905.php )

Thanks, Niko.

Have been totally out of the loop with that one. Didn't pay that much attention as it is nothing but "the emperor's new clothes": the incomplete translation with a new cover. I wonder how long it'll take until they get the job properly done... :)
