Hi everyone, i read this on the FSM forum:

"It can now be announced that Christopher Lennertz has been signed by Electronic Arts to compose the music to their James Bond line of games beginning with FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. The entire look and feel of the game is very 60's and the score will very much be a part of and add to that overall ambience.

Chris begins recording at the famous Abbey Road studios later this month!"

the pae can be seen here : http://www.filmscore...25905&forumID=1

I don't know at all Lennertz, but i'll try to do some search on him.

Very interesting find level. I've not heard of him before so I don't know if his work is any good. EA have yet to go wrong on the soundtrack front yet though so I'll assume he's got what it takes.

I hope this guy is good, but if I were EA I would have tried to get Michael Giacchino
..... the guy who scored the Incredibles... he's a video game scoring vet, and his style would have worked perfectly for something like From Russia With Love...

Thanks for the news, level! Nice pick-up. Who's Christopher Lennertz? I assume they're going with a Barry 60's, jazz sound. This fellow must be something for EA to sign him to multiple Bond games. But why not Jeff Tymoschuk who worked on Nightfire and EON? He seemed very capable and in tune with the Bond sound.

Oh, and deth, good point about Michael Giachinno -- he's definitely one to watch. I'm playing Medal of Honor: Frontline for Gamecube right now and he composed a beautiful main theme for that game. However, I know he's been wanting to move into the realm of film scoring so I'm not sure he'd be interested here.

Aww, I really liked Sean Callery's work in EON. He does astounding work in "24", which he is most known for.

You guys left out something: "With additional music by Jeff Tymoschuk." :)

(Yes, I believe that Tymoschuk will do some additional music, as he did with Nightfire and EON.)
