While shopping for a new game last night, I saw Rogue Agent sitting on the shelf. It has dropped in price to $30, but is it really worth picking up? The back shows a neat picture of Zorin's blimp flying over the Golden Gate and that was the sole inspiration for my consideration of buying the game. Are they many scenes where you play in classic 007 locations?

Perhaps I should wait till it drops again to $20 as I could not resist buying Shadow of Rome...

Its enjoyable for the first level or two on single player. Unless you are going to play multiplayer on either Xbox Live or PS2 Live its nowhere near as fun as the original N64 Goldeneye.

Yeah, I haven't heard good things about it, and you guys aren't saying good things either... This must be a stinker. I'd be playing single player only... guess I'll wait till it hits the sale bin...
Thanx all...

Compared to other Bond games out there, I'd say no.

I'll rent it, but I won't buy it.

I'm just fed up with the Bond games now. Nothing will replace the original Goldeneye game.

If you only own a PC to play games it's definitely not worth it.

That pretty much sums it up. I got mine as a gift and I still feel like I've been cheated somehow.

... I just finished Nightfire yesterday... Strange how when you buy a new game, you end up playing old ones that you've had for a while...

It is known that GoldenEye has online play. My version, (Britain), #PS2, hasn't got the online in the menu. Strange or it doesn't have it, the US version does, apparently.

If it's 30 dollars now, it's worth it definitely.

Enjoyable at first, then crap at the end.

Now that is sad. I doubt EoN went down in cost that quickly.

It could just be that you don't like stealth, proper stealth games which you use your head instead of running and killing. What would you prefer, MGS3 or Splinter Cell?

I think it is worth buying if you have not played the game before then atfirst when you do play it it is hard but you will get used to it eventually and some missions are very hard.

Are you sure BONDFINESSE isn't referring to Rogue Agent? I think there may have been some confusion in your discussion.

THere could've been. I now have MGS3 and it is great. CQC is hard still.

After seeing video footage on the X-Play review, I would argue against buying Rogue Agent. And my point is further refuted by several of my friends who regret playing it.

That's right. REGRET.

I thought that Rogue Agent was a pretty good. It was neat seeing old characters reintroduced and old locations revisited. But I wish that classic characters such as Jaws, Baron Samedi, and Blofeld would have been added. I like the multiplayer levels, but the single player levels are way to long and the game seems choppy at points. Overall I'd give the game a B or C. It was a good idea that didn't reach its potential.

Blofeld was in it. I'm on Crab Key and I've only seen him once. He had his cat with him. MP would be better if there were bots.
