I only have listened to 3 soundtracks
Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and On Her Majesty's Secret Service

I personally like the Goldeneye soundtrack. Been playing the second and third track the most.

Good soundtrack that, regardless of how much bashing it receives.

How can people possibly rate For Your Eyes only above Live and Let Die. How can they rate it at all. Terrible Song.

There'd be little interesting discussion without these types of differing opinions.

Plus: keep in mind that this topic is focusing on the soundtrack of each Bond film as a whole, not just the title song.

Those two soundtracks are among the finest in the Bond vault.

I always return to the LALD soundtrack. Lovely melodies, great suspenseful arrangements and use of the Bond theme. A shame that Martin wasn´t asked back.

I also love the Live and Let Die soundtrack aswell. Martin came up with some beautiful arrangements. My all time favorite is On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. I really like the David Arnold soundtracks aswell, I dunno but his work on Die Another Day made the movie bareable.

I love Casino Royale (2006) - (Voted for this). David Arnold did a great job to give this "A Bond Sound" with having the restriction of not being able to slot in The Bond Theme throughout the various tracks. I love "African Rundown","CCTV", "Miami International", "End of An Aston Martin" (even though musically - its too short), and "The Name's Bond..James Bond"
Diamonds are Forever is my very close second. "007 and Counting" being my favourite track followed by "Mr Wint and Mr Kidd" - both of these tracks ARE Diamonds Are Forever - for me.
On Her Majestys Secret Service is a VERY VERY close third - my favourite track of all is "Try" - I think it's SOOO Sensual, and perfectly fits Bond walking down the stairs at the casino (with the gorgeously 1960's purple wallpaper)! 2nd favouite track is "This Never Happened To The Other Fella" and my third choice wasn't on the original album! It is on the extended release - it's "Gumbold's Safe".

You Only Live Twice. It's Barry in his prime at his best. I couldn't get the theme out of my head for days after I first heard it. I love the exotic, Asian feel of the score which complements this, the most exotic Bond film of all, very well.

Honorable mention to On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and The Living Daylights.

Three-way split for me between YOLT, OHMSS and Moonraker. But I had to go for OHMSS.

How can people possibly rate For Your Eyes only above Live and Let Die. How can they rate it at all. Terrible Song.

I suspect you'll love reading the new book The Man With The Golden Touch because the author agrees with you that FYEO is a terrible song (although he admits to being in a minority). Personally, I think they're both great Bond songs although, for me, LALD is by far the better of the two.

My favorite is probably the soundtrack for The Living Daylights. It had the right mixture of action cues, espionage cues and romance cues. There are certainly some other great ones, but I'll go with TLD.

Thunderball easily!

Track number 7 aka the casino aka thunderball instrumental, that music we hear where we see Bond get off the boat and walk into the casino almost makes me want to weep because it's one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed. It's Bondian, it's so classical, I can think of numerous senarios in which one can do varying things and the music will make anything from the most mundane to the most evil and exciting thing all the more engaging.

Is there any way to update it to allow revoting? Obviously I haven't listened to it yet, but there is a chance it could be my favorite and I won't be able to vote for it.

Unfortunately, I don't think it allows for that John. Would be nice if a future upgrade allowed users to recall their original votes and then place a new one accordingly.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is my favourite soundtrack, but You Only Live Twice is a very, very close second. I’ve been listening to it recently and I’ve been reminded how fantastic it is. ‘Capsule in Space’ and the variations on the Sinatra's main theme are some of the best things to emerge from this series.

I join Taro Todoroki in his praise of the remastered LALD soundtrack. Among the extra tracks (I think they're extra - I was never familiar with the original album) are the musical sequences that lead into the Wings main and end title tracks: the death of Baines (?) during the voodoo ritual at the beginning of the film and Samedi's cowcatcher ride at the end. I've always loved how the theme, in both cases, segues from the incidental music.

I realllly like OHMSS. the instrumental John Barry theme is really great. Louis Armstrong's We Have All the Time in the World fits beautifully into the movie. Sweet soundtrack to a totally underrated flick. But what the heck is up with Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown... creepy.

I voted for GE. I can't believe it's not more popular. I really liked what Serra brought to Bond. It would have been nice to have the entire score, but the songs on there are fantastic. (I always listen to it when it starts snowing. Such a great fall/winter vibe.)

Glad Arnold came around but wonder why they didn't take Serra for another album.

...my two cents...
