Women say he's the most sexy man alive.
I say he's one of the best british actors of his generation.
I say he could be the perfect James Bond.
He has charisma and charm. He has a perfect fit image and a darker side producers can explore...
In my oppinion only Jude Law can outperform Pierce Brosnan.
Worldwide audiences will be thrilled with Mr. Law as 007!

Rikki Lee Travolta. You know it makes sense. :)

Actually, I think I would rather see Rikki Lee Travolta as Bond.

An adaptation of "For Special Services" may be just what the doctor ordered, though. :)

Jude Law will never be Bond.

1. Too popular and would never commit to a series.
2. Salary demands would be outrageous.
3. He's way too much of a pretty boy.
4. Bond is not blond.
5. People Magazine says who the Sexiest Man Alive is.

Law as Bond , and P. Diddy as Villain! :) :)

one of the scots has to be Bond. they fit perfectly the suit for Bond:

Ewan MacGregor or Dougray Scott.

Women say he's the most sexy man alive.

Not this woman.
Two years ago, People magazine named Ben Affleck as the "Sexiest Man Alive" and his career went downhill from there. However, Johnny Depp seems to have survived the "honour".
Actually I've nothing against Jude Law but he's yet to be in a movie I've felt like watching.

Jude Law looked very Bondish in 'A.I'!.

I think he could play Bond, but as I mentioned in another thread, it's really difficult to see these contenders playing James Bond without seeing them in a Tux etc.

The Jude Law backlash has already set in.

Entertainment Weekly had an article about it. Starring in 6 movies between September and December is a quick way to overstay your welcome.

The article also pointed out that Law can't "Open" a film, i.e. have it be a success because he is in it.

I love how movie execs tried to blame the election as the reason Alfie flopped.

He is much too feminine to be Bond.

I believe he just got voted the Sexiest Man Alive, I did a Quick News about it. I like the idea of him as Bond though. He looks like he could easily be someone you're not sure of what they'll do next and I'd like to see a screentest of him to see how he'd really be.

"In my opinion only Jude Law can outperform Pierce Brosnan."

A Mannaquin can do just as well as Pierce Brosnan...but it has to be at least 6'1, dark hair...Jude isn't tall enough. He looks too delicate for Bond too. I'm sure he can get the babes but he doesn't come off as dangerous. At all.

I think EON are going to do their 'pull a new actor out-of-the-hat trick'!.

It DID work with Dalton, but will it work again?. :)

ya know, when i first saw this, i scoffed at it, but when i actually think about it, jude law could make a desent Bond, then again, he might not. I stick with saying Clive Owen would be perfect.

I agree. Clive is my first choice... but if Law becomes Bond, I think he'd be good at it. It's all based on the writing and I think if he became Bond that Wilson and Broccoli would make it work.

I registered at this site to voice my opinion on the subject of Jude Law as James Bond: I think he is an inappropriate choice because he took it up the :) from Stephen Fry in the film 'Wilde'. It's SO not Bond. Not that there's anything wrong with it...ahem.

I mean, can you imagine the e-mail attachments that could end up on the net spoofing Bond using that footage? It must not be!

Jude is Wrong.

Jude Law isn't really a man's man, I know alot of fans, people, actors, look up to Connery, Moore, Hugh Jackman has more likeability I say from a male perspective, sort of like way Harrison Ford is a man's man, certain men respect certain men, Jude Law isn't in that department. Sure some may like him, i like him as a actor, but enough for Bond, Bond is the hardest role to cast on the planet really, recent yahoo pole had Jackman beating everyone, Jude Law just doesn't fit.

If Jude couldn't "make it" as Alfie I can't see him making it as Bond.

When I see him in the trailers for Closer, for some reason he seems to be alot more Bond-ian like than Clive Owen. Now that's not something to go on as a trailer is merely a trailer and seeing the film will be a better judgement, but it's just something I seem to keep noticing. They're both top contenders still.

Better than alot of the other names mentioned anyways.
