Note that because of a lack of further stories being in the contest, there will most likely only be one collection of stories being put together, as opposed originally to two.

The patience in waiting is appreciated.

Hi everyone on the judging board;

I'm just curious about what format the final collection will be in. Most of the novels on the main site are in pdf format, but I was wondering if there would be something different, seeing how it's a contest and all, and if that would affect it in any way.

Thanks, good to hear of the change.

The final collection, as far as I know, will be located in the fan fiction section on the main site and yes, the stories there are in PDF.

I don't think the fact that this is a contest will have any effect on the format - it will be in PDF as well.

Let me just confirm that with Qwerty. :)

FanFics Chosen

Well...took a bit of waiting, but we have finally finalized the stories in the collection. I speak for myself here, but I enjoyed reading a great many of them and encourage all of you to keep adding this great Bond fanfiction to the CommanderBond.net forums.

In the end, it was decided to go with four stories in total. With that, the stories in the collection are:

These are four very good, very solid stories, but with maybe one unfinished exception, I enjoyed reading all of the entries, and saw some prime examples of good writing in each. To all of those involved, and especially those who didn't make it, I earnestly suggest that you continue to post and share your stories with us, your effort is appreciated, and you have a chance to hone your skills with the type of honest feedback that you will be hard spent to find elsewhere.

I guess I'm trying to say thank you to all the contributors. And a big thank you to Qwerty who spent an amazing amount of time and effort organizing everything up to this point, and everything that is yet to come :) .

And yes, kudos for Qwerty. :)

I think everyone will agree that the past few months in the fan-fiction forum have been a real treat. There have been many 007 stories posted lately that I feel are worthy of inclusion in some kind of collection or another. I send out my sincere congratulations to Double-Oh-Zero, Andrew Hixon, and MattofSteel for their most excellent contributions to the unofficial Bond canon. May there be many more memorable Bond stories to come in the future!

Thanks everyone for reading, and thanks alot to the judges!

I haven't had a chance to read many of the contest entries, but what I have read impressed me quite a bit. There is alot of talent here on these boards, I look forward to what everyone else comes up with in the future.

Congratulations to both the selected authors and to everyone else who entered. Also a huge thanks to Qwerty for giving us this opportunity. Well done CBN!

Thanks Qwerty for opening a discussion topic for my entry - my first Bond effort - I would appreciate any feedback ( constructive hopefully :) ) especially from the judges - I have a few ideas kicking around for future stories.
