Interesting, considering that it hasn't even been 2 years since it was released in the cinema, and only one and a half years since being released on DVD.
Oh well.
Place your bets.

That's only a year after it came out on DVD!
Bloody hell.
I suppose they're running out of films to repeat.
Soon they'll have the 21st Bond Film before cinemas!

"Starring Halle Berry ... and Pierce Brosnan as James Bond."
Fair enough.

I've just seen ITV's ad for tonight's premiere, and was amused to hear the words:
"Starring Halle Berry ... and Pierce Brosnan as James Bond."
Fair enough.
The other way being "Starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond and Halle Berry."
They might have got it more grammatically correct the way they did it.

Not sure anyone could have bothered, advertising, news and no doubt any number of other interruptions.
This for the American members - does anyone find it annoying when NBC advertise what is the next programme to be shown, as graphic slidey things, during the time when the actual programme you're watching is being shown. Not even during advertising breaks, I find it very disrespectful to the programme maker and not a little disrespectful of the viewers. It appears to be always about what is coming up as opposed to what is on now.
I hope to God the UK doesn't go that far. (I was in Dominicon Republic recently watching American TV)(trying to watch)

As for the advertising of the next programme during the current one, it's also done (for awhile now) in Australia as well, and since being in Indonesia to experience both cable and satellite TV I find the same practice employed.
But I've noticed when I last returned to Australia recently that during the end credits of a programme the screen is split in two with one half displaying the credits while the other half advertises programming - but not necessarily the next one.

Echoed in the bizarrely quick turnaround of T3, which is on five in November.
Sorry to continue this OT discussion, but T3 has being showing here on satellite TV for the last month or so. Based in Taiwan AXN proclaims itself as THE action station in Asia. What with Alias, and the CSIs - amongst other shows - it lives up to it. And NO subtitling either.T3 on five in November?

That happens in the UK as well. I can sort of accept that as the majority of the world will leave during then anyway. But everyone will stay to the end of the meat of the programme.
If the graphics from the station start interfering within the body of the programme, you can be sure I will be a vociferous objector.

Nothing was cut but the CGI looked even worse than it did at the cinema and on the DVD.

Same here, but we're talking about a terrestial station- the rules are different for satellite for some reason. Only the Bonds and films financed by the TV stations screening them make it to terrestial first.

And in very tight pan and scan, which is unusual nowadays. However, I watch Daylights the other day and DAD is comparatively very stupid and rubbish. It really is quite bad, isn't it?

On late though, wasn't it? How can kids watch it if it finishes at midnight?

Yes. It really is.

Which must be why they had problems recently putting TLD out on DVD. Because DAD owns TLD! No? You've been a lousy audience. Critics and material I don't need....

TLD has more sense than to bother owning DUD. Spent the money on something better. Like having rats chew its eyes out.
Umm...this is a leedle abstract, no?
