At this very moment I am listening to 'Baby I Love Your Way' by Peter Frampton.

I've had it on repeat for the last hour or so. I love this song.

At this exact moment? Nothing, but I've been playing Ian Brown's new album "Solarized" like crazy over the past week - probably his best work since his Stone Roses days.

Bitter Victory from the Battle Royale soundtrack.

At least that's what I believe it is called. Someone translated the Japanese title.

Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys. Cheesy track on an otherwise mellow album, but with a Sixties spoof spy movie vibe that I kinda dig.

"Cannot Hide"
-by: a-ha
Can you see me baby
Standing in the light
I feel your cat's eyes on me
Faster in the night
I move inside
Got those eyes
Something's burning baby
That's alright
You and I
Here tonight

Meet me on the other side
'Cause you can do me right
Take me where I cannot hide
'Cause you can do me right
Meet me on the other side
You don't know me girl
I'm faceless in the crowd
The things I could show you baby
Come on, come onto my cloud
I'm alive tonight
Something's falling baby
You and I
Out of the sky I can see it in your eyes

Meet me on the other side
('Cause you can do me right)
Take me where I cannot hide
('Cause you can do me right)
You need, baby, you're alive
('Cause you can do me right)
Take me to the other side
('Cause you can do me right)
Meet me on the other side

I speak French today baby.
In addition, here's a piece of art I did in Jan of 2003 while listening to this song... hence the name of the piece is "Meet Me On The Other Side" (note: my scanner wasn't big enough, so this isn't the whole picture)...

I knew that looked familiar Athena, it's on your website! Never heard that song myself, but that's a very cool job on the art piece there.

I've been meaning to get a whole section of my art up on my site... it's taking longer than I thought it would. I actually don't spend my life infront of the computer like I thought I did... lol :)

The televisions on and I'm walking throught the yard
How's this life that sweet when I'm crying in the car
Dying for the weekend

The kids are alright but they don't smell much
The sellup in the garage in the decks and the stuff
Dying for the weekend

The boys on a charge but his mother doesn't know
I never got around yet I tell it my soul
But we only make it crazy

We'll I'll be fine, I'm only screaming in my head
But I can fly, I close my eyes and I can fly

The televisions on and I'm walking throught the yard
How's this life that sweet when I'm crying in my car
Dying for the weekend

The kids are gonna get it in an all right way
Looking pretty though but I still want to say
(Do you really have to go?)

Down in the backstreet the skinny get cries
Bad judge saturday another life line
Dying for the weekend

We'll I'll be fine, I'm only screaming in my head
But I can fly, I close my eyes and I can fly
When I can fly and fall to all the end and I can fly

I'll be fine, I'm only screaming in my head
I can fly, I close my eyes and I can fly

"Fly" by David Bowie, Reality (2003)
