I love the first half of Goldeneye and TND then it just gets a little less interesting.

TWINE is the only Brosnan film that keeps me entertained throughout.

Thunderball has a good first half... and that's about it for Thunderball... to me it is just a first half then I switch it off and watch YOLT!

I can only watch half of FYEO... the climax is a little too boring for me and the parrot's Maggie Thatcher impression makes me cringe!!!

The pre-credit sequence to DAF was pretty much a sequel to OHMSS, where Bond is hunting high and low for Blofeld, obviously to avenge Tracy's death.
But I agree that all the Bond movies are self-contained leaving no scope for a sequel.
