Bond 21 starring Adrian Paul.

Yes! I agree 110% (did we just actually agree on something Tarl?)

Oh also... another "worst Bond idea": William Shatner to Play Villain in Bond 21

The only bad Bond 21 idea I can think of is Bond 21 without Brosnan.

Ah yes, a very good pick there for this thread Agent76. One can only know that many fans aren't too thrilled about them. Time for them to sidestep a little bit, I think and hope.

Chinese locations a bad idea? Why? I'd love to see scenes filmed in the People's Republic. Beijing and the Forbidden City would be fantastic, as would Shanghai and many other places....

I'm with you Loomis, some real locations with travelogue would be a welcomed addition once again.

I love Asian locations...especially when they are filmed in Asia! The TND locales were recycled and not very interesting but if Bond actually went to CHINA that would be great.

I think they did quite good with the locations in Tomorrow Never Dies, the small boat trip Bond and Wai Lin take to Carver's stealtship, I'd love to see some locations in China for the next Bond movies.

The Asian locations are getting a bit old - we had them both used in TND and DAD. I'd much rather see South Africa, Australia, or South America used in Bond 21.

If a Bond film really were to go and really use China as a location, it could be fantastic. The Forbidden City is one of the most amazing places I've ever seen and it just screams to be used in a Bond movie somewhere.

I believe Loomis mentioned that a little while ago on CBn, and that would be my choice if they went in that location area. South Africa and Australia are the two other locations I've really warmed up to though too.

Yeah, I posted the following:

I've often thought that Beijing's Forbidden City would make a terrific Bond movie location. Check out the pics on http://www.beijingtr...bidden_city.htm and imagine an epic chase through this baby!

What's more, the Forbidden City would afford the filmmakers the opportunity for a terrific little in-joke, since the English version of the audio tour comes courtesy of none other than Roger Moore! Wouldn't it be cool to have Rog's voice heard briefly on the soundtrack, via a headset delivering commentary to some hapless tourist who does a doubletake and eyes his beer suspiciously as Brosnan/Jackman/Owen/whoever tears past him, leaving comic carnage in his wake!

Hrm, link not working, but I've seen the pics before.

I think it's one of the better suggestions for Bond 21.

As a cost cutting exercise MGM force EON to hire straight-to-cable action meister Albert Pyun. Bond finds himself caught in the middle of a battle between butch cyborg women from the future and a bloke who used to do Guinness adverts. The whole escapade in filmed in under a week in an dilapidated milking shed in Eastern Europe. Fuzzy-Felt pictures are substituted for the CGI, but nobody notices. Afterwards, Mickey G takes the entire cast and crew out for a KFC with the money left from the $16.20 budget.

Oh, and worst of all, Purvis and Wade still have the writing credit. :)
