One of the contestants' pet subject was Bond, and while he won his heat he failed to progress past the playoff for the grand final.
Perhaps partly because the poor lad wasn't totally knowledgeable in his pet subject as the last example in his triva list shown here may suggest.
Oh dear.

Frankly the guy didn't stand a chance from his very first trivia piece. The moon? Come on! Looks like you just looked at the film titles!
Haven't ever seen the show, I'm afraid.

That was rather amusing to see though.Obviously not a large trivia geek, the crocodile farm owner was a man named Kananga, the villain in Live And Let Die, not Scaramanga in The Man With The Golden Gun.
Gosh, people these days .

Kind of choked at the auditions though :
Who played Fiona in Thunderball?
What does Bond use a grape for in Live and Let Die?
Missed em both

I'd have known the second one there, but my actors memory is a bit off on the earlier films.Wow was surprised to see this - I actually auditioned for the show with James Bond films as my topic!
