"Abdel Hello,

Yes, I live Brussels. I thought that this heading was going to remain dumb long enough
considering the little of French-speaking people who sail on this
excellent forum. Therefore, it is with pleasure that I will exchange messages with you here. In all cases, welcome on tiny planet of French-speaking."

Lady Templar, I know that lingo translators are often useless. Here's what one said you'd written. :)

Hee-hee :)

Well I don't speak French, but in reading it, it is not too far off from Spanish.

I do like French movies, and we have several with subtitles. In fact we just ordered The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Can't wait till it arrives :) .

Cheers,

4A

Hello 4A, pleased to see you here too :)
Do you really think French sounds a bit like Spanish? :) French is maybe closer to Italian but it's very different.

Ah, Les parapluis de Cherbourg, a classic movie and a big hit when it was first released. I you enjoy it, you'll surely like Les Demoiselles de Rochefort aka The Young Girls of Rochefort also with Catherine Deneuve and her sister Fran

Hi FourAces

I'm ashamed but i haven't seen The Umbrellas of Cherbourg yet :) but i was told it is excellent :)
This year we had two spanish students in our section and they confirmed that it was not too difficult to understand french when you're spanish :)

Merci du renseignement Marie-France :)

If you're referring to the television show with Roger Moore of course: http://www.amazon.co...?v=glance&s=dvd

Or the single sets, many of the episodes are very, very good.

Thanks QWERTY, I just found them there. For me Sir Roger will always be The Saint. I grew up watching the show on TV, while Connery was doing Bond.

Cheers,

Great 4A, we're going to develop The Saint topic thanks to you :)
I missed true Saint fans (there is already one on the forum who is John163) there...

By the way Qwerty, I had a look at your Brosnan discussion board and it looks great (wow the Irish colours!).
