My first "The Heart Of Erzulie" cover was very rough, and created in some haste, so, I dug into 'the archives' and dug on some voodoo images! Here you are, Bond returns to Jamaica!

Wow, that's easily the best piece of fan art I've ever seen, anywhere. Very nice work indeed, Ice. :)

Excellent as always Ice.
But in all honesty I prefered the first one; even if it was a rough attempt.

Very nice, Ice. Love the voodoo doll with 007 on it. Inspired.

Icephoenix, terrific as always!!

What I love about this one is the wood backround, much like the early Fleming novels. Superb work! :)

Interesting Icephoenix. Can you tell us how you created it?, if you don't mind of course. :)

Very good! But if you manage to do a Chopping-esque cover then my hat, of which I have several, would come off to you.

That's exactly what this cover reminds me of, and I love the Chopping covers. It just looks like an original Bond hardcover, the wood backround, a few items about the story, I really like that style.

Thanks for bumping, Righty, because even though I posted, I didn't remember this. Great cover.

And because I'm sure someone will ask...

Great work Icephoenix--very professisonal looking. Makes me pine even more for the unlikely release of The Heart Of Erzulie. B) (Good for you...) (...not so much for me.)

I have to admit, of all the fanfic covers I've seen, this comes closest to capturing the Chopping (and subsequently Botten/Scobie) style. I admired Barbara Emmanuelle's Heaven Isn't Too Far Away cover, but this one is sharper and even more evocative.

I'm not usually one to praise fan art, but you surprised me, Icephoenix. Well done!

Sorry for bumping this up yet again, but I only just came across the more recent responses and would just like to say - thanks guys! It's hard to believe I made this over six years ago. I've been so busy lately with other things in life, but seeing such nice feedback makes we want to get back into knocking out some fan-art again!
