This one only aired six months ago, on August 24th 2003. It premiered about a year prior to that.
Been a few years since GoldenEye got a run, though.

Lol Alias and 24 are pretty much all I watch on CH 7. Oh and The Simple Life, just cos i like a good giggle.I think Channel 10 still has the rights to the Connery Bonds. But at least Channel 7 takes care of my espionage fix with 'Alias' and '24', so they can't be all that bad.

Yes channel ten still owns the rights to: Dr No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Casino Royale, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, Live And Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Mooranker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, Never Say Never Again, A View To A Kill, The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill. Nothing has changed in recent years except we haven't seen OHMSS or TLD for yonks.I think Channel 10 still has the rights to the Connery Bonds.

Speaking of The Simple Life, I must say that Channel 7 bugs me every time they fill the bottom quarter of the screen with those annoying banners advertising other shows on the network. It usually pops up when Jack Bauer has a gun to his head or when Sidney Bristow has just been given some shocking information.Lol Alias and 24 are pretty much all I watch on CH 7. Oh and The Simple Life, just cos i like a good giggle.
Kinda' dilutes the tension, know what I mean?

And does anyone else hate all the self promotion on the channels over the last year or two? People dancing around with some music constatnly repeating the channel's number? ARGH.

TEN have owned the rights to the first 16 Bond films [and the two unofficial ones] going back to at least 2000.I'm sure I've seen the Moore and Dalton Bonds on Channel 7 in recent years.
TEN had their first run of 00 Heaven in September 2000.
Au contraire!Be afraid....be very afraid!
The film scored the highest rating of any movie on TV this week in TV Guide, tied only with The Fugitive...
THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (1999)
8.30pm, Seven (M) ****
From the white-water thrills of the opening sequence, to the fabulous locations, overblown stunts, thumping soundtrack and snappy pay-offs, this Bond movie will leave you both shaken and stirred. Pierce Brosnan comes within a bat's squeak of toppling Sean Connery, the greatest Bond of all.
I truly despise the glut of reality TV that the networks are inflicting upon us, but geez, am I absolutely sick of Australian / American Idol stuff on TEN. If I see Guy Sebastian advertised as a performer on any more of TEN's shows, one more Simpsons advertisement somehow cashing in on Australian Idol or one more Australian Idol-related news story on TEN's news, I will scream bloody murder! And does anyone else hate all the self promotion on the channels over the last year or two?

Its those huge advertisments that have really put me off channel 7 now. While most channels have them (and ive always put up with em) the new ones on channel 7 are a third of the entire screen. Its ridiculous. And they always pop up at the most inappropriate times.Speaking of The Simple Life, I must say that Channel 7 bugs me every time they fill the bottom quarter of the screen with those annoying banners advertising other shows on the network. It usually pops up when Jack Bauer has a gun to his head or when Sidney Bristow has just been given some shocking information.

BTW, Guy Sebastion looks like a bush pig, its embarrising that he won that show.

yes the reviewers these days generally have no idea what they're talking about and give all the Brosnan films four or five stars and give the classic Bond films two or three if they're lucky.THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (1999)

Now that's generous.I've only ever seen the ratings in the Hearld Sun in their Wednesday TV thing. I remeber they gave The Man With the Golden Gun *** which I thought was nice.
Personally, I think The World Is Not Enough is incredibly underrated, so when I saw it get **** this week, I thought that was nice.
If memory serves me correctly, it also scored Movie-of-the-Week in TV Week when it premiered back in 2002.

I really liked Paulini actually. If it was a simple talent contest she wouldve won it easliy.Although I hate Aussie Idol, I heard Paulini(?) sing when she did a concert up here, and my god, hearing her live, she should have won it. Instead of that talentless git. He also had a concert up here a few nights ago, and he has become so stuck up and self indulged. ugh.
Im really enjoying American idol as well, but only cos of Simon Cowell. The man is a legend.
