While playing the "Pontchartrain Bridge" level, I saw the sun balloon that was in the "Mardi Gras Mayhem" mission (the balloon is the one that will leave the ground when you make one of the Bond move). This "sun" can be seen at the left of your screen after the exploding gaz truck (after you passed under) near the end of the level (when Q says that there's only three miles remaining). Did anyone saw it?

I haven't seen it on the Ponchartrain level but I did have great fun finding and performing that Bond moment! :)

Ahhhh! I wondered what that was. I chalked it up to one of the many 'crap animations' that permeate EoN. Notice how one FMV is a lot better looking than another?

The quality of some of the FMV really does grate on me, I agree with you Brix.

The funniest FMVs for me are (Spoilers if you don't want to know).

When Bond drops Katya off after Sand Storm, he takes off again and looks like a goon. He's leaning forward and looks really stupid.

Also the one after the Final Card level where Diavolo does a comedy fist shaking action and then again when the ejector seat whizzes past Bond and he barely notices it.

Both had me cracking up! :)

Dunphboye, I have told you in the past to stop picking on me on other threads, now this is your final warning.

Eh? :)

Anyway, back on topic, the thing that annoys me about some of the FMV is the compression of the video, some of it looks like digitally zoomed MPEG, and some fits in nicely with the game. Anyone else noticed this? Really does bring the game down for me.

I was thinking earlier about how cool it would be to have a whole Bond movie done in FMV style.

You mean Final Fantasy style? I'd be happy with a game with consistently top-notch FMV quality graphics rather than a whole film.

this is for EoN and any other PS2 bond game.

to watch the videos on your computer, insert the disc into your dvd rom drive (can't be cd rom! must be a dvd drive!) open up the drive in my computer and click on the folder labeled movies.

for viewing the movies you must have a program called Arcsoft Showbiz.

Right click the file and select open with...

select showbiz.

if your computer is fast enough, you should be able to watch the movies without it freezing. just a tip incase you hate beating levels over and over just to see the movies.

Cool. Where can you get this program? Is it free on the net?

Well, I don't know if this is funny but it made me laugh. On the last mission in Multiplayer, I think I shot an enemy in the head and he fell on one of those iron supports hanging on his stomach.

Another was in the mission "Ambushed", I was trying for the platinum and I killed three people with the roll-and-shoot method and then a shotgun guy killed me and a pile of dead bodies looked mixed like they were playing "twister"

One sentence always gets me:

"You'll have to do better than that; it's bulletproof!"
