The Quick News submission is a new feature to CBn and one that we feel will let us deliver more news to you. On the Home Page, you'll notice a new section above the "Latest Incoming Transmissions" - called, "Intercepted Headlines". This is where you can see the latest Bond headlines from all over the web, not just CBn. All you do is click on the headline to be taken off directly to the article.

You can also join in with this new feature, right from within the forums!

All you need to do is create a post inside of the Quick News Submission forum. However, you have to post the headline in a certain way.

First of all, in the "Topic Title" field, you need to put in an appropriate Headline for this piece of news. This can be copied directly from the news article, or it can be one that you create, so long as it's relevant.

Time Warner, MGM Call Off Talks On Merger

If you want, you can also add a Source for the submission, all you need to do is type this into the "Description" field for the post.

New York Post

You then, inside the main message area post the full URL leading to the news article. An example is:

http://www.nypost.com/business/15264.htm

If you post anything in addition to just the URL, we won't be able to approve the submission.

Then, simply post the topic.

Now, the submission won't automatically appear. It will need to be approved by a member of the CBn team first to ensure that the link works. Once it has been approved, it will appear on the Home Page. It will also appear at the top of the Forums index page.

Well, we really hope you'll enjoy using this new feature! If you have any questions, please be sure to post them in the Support forum.
