Contestants. Welcome to The Mole.

Currently there are Nine of you. In one weeks time there will be Eight.

Nine contestants. Eight Genuine. One Mole.

The job for the contestants is to survive each week by discovering the identity of The Mole and as much about him (or her) as possible. After each weeks challenge you will answer the Mole Quiz and the person with the lowest score will be eliminated.

In the final week we will be left with three contestants

WEEK ONE : CHALLENGE

The contestants have been split into teams of two as follows :

The first mission is a nice and easy James Bond quiz. This quiz will be posted on the trivia forums after the contestants are finished. The twist is these are not all questions you can do a google search for but also taken from the numerous pieces of Bond paraphernalia many of you will have at home somewhere. It is highly unlikely every member of the team will be able to answer each question and thus you should work together as a team in order for your team to win.

However. A total of THREE exemptions are on offer through this game. TWO will be awarded to the contestants with the two best scores on the team that achieves the highest combined score (out of 20) and ONE consolation will be awarded to the highest scorer on the losing team. The free 00-agent is thus likely to sure up an exemption, or does he work with his team to ensure the best chances for all? What strategy will you choose to ensure your survival.

There are two other missions taking place here. Firstly player number nine, Jimbo007, has a simple mission : to bet on the player who he believes with achieve an exemption. If he is right, he will also gain an exemption, if wrong he will be up for elimination with the others. And finally there is The Mole, doing all he or she can to limit your winnings. Some of you may be on a team with The Mole, so keep watch.

All players have been sent a five question quiz which is due back by Thursday night. Friday night will see the announcement of the results and handing out of exemptions, the recipients able to rest easy for a week. The Mole Quiz will be mailed out to those up for elimination and next Sunday one will be eliminated.

RESULTS : CHALLENGE ONE

The first Quiz indeed puzzled many, especially those who assumed their team mates had the same Quiz as them. Two different ones were in fact sent out within each team, the players will know by now if this had an effect or not. Every question was answered correctly by at least one player. Well spotted Athena, thankfully you still managed to succeed. Assume as a general rule any such questions are from an Australian perspective however this will be the last quiz for some time anyway.

Mole Quizzes are in and its time for one contestant to go home.

A note on the Mole Quiz, that I must prefix by saying that it is of course up to you how you fill it in. All of you chose to pick one person for their Mole suspect and answer all the questions relative to that. Those who were wrong thus received very low scores, perhaps chancing one question or indeed not. Whilst any method is fine, several of you who are incorrect will be very close to leaving next week unless bets are hedged. But of course you may be right on the money - the choice is ultimately yours.

Eliminations will work in the same style as the television show this is derived from. Every person has an image file posted below. Click on your own file. If it comes up green you are safe. If it is red you have been eliminated from the game.
