I was watching LTK today and I have a question.

Bond breaks into Crest's warehouse where he "doesn't" have any sharks. Bond steps over a grate and a sharks head bobs up.

Now, until today I've always considered it a fake shark. Well yes I know in real life it's fake anyway. But I've always thought it was a fake shark even in Bond's world, something of a deterent to scare people away.

But today I'm not so sure. Sharky looks genuinely worried about the shark. And I also noticed that the shark they (being the producers) use when Bond throws the corrupt DA agent to the sharks is exactly the same colour.

So was it a deterent? Or a supposedly a real shark? I'm thinking that Gardner's novel may hold the answer or perhaps the script. Sadly, I own neither.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to clear this one up in my head :)

I own the Gardner novelisation, and I've just checked. Its real shark in the book.
