Enough of the Gabrielle Drake photos Blofeld's Cat. I think that the real stars of UFO are Martin Bower's models and Derek Medding's special effects. How about some pictures of the SHADO Mobiles, SkyDiver, SID, or the UFOs?

Triton, you are so right. While there is plenty of gorgeous "software" in U.F.O. there is an equal amount of stunning hardware too.

Some of the pix I posted here came from an excellent image based site called U.F.O. Image Library. At the bottom of the page there is a list one can choose specific themed pix from the show. Go for it. :cool:

The UFO television series has many faces that are familiar to James Bond fans.

The Commander of Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization (SHADO) Ed Straker was portrayed by Ed Bishop. Ed Bishop also portrayed Klaus Hergersheimer in Diamonds Are Forever. He was the one from G section, checking radiation badges.

Colonel Paul Foster was portrayed by Michael Billington. Billington portrayed Anya's lover Sergei Barsov in The Spy Who Loved Me and was rumored to be on the short list of James Bond candidates until the 1980s. (He was the one who was shot by Bond's ski pole.)

Dr. Doug Jackson was portrayed by Vladek Sheybal who was Kronsteen in From Russia with Love.

Actor Shane Rimmer can be seen in several episodes of UFO playing different supporting characters. Shane Rimmer has appeared in many James Bond films:

Hawaii Radar Operator in You Only Live Twice (He's the one who says "Hello, Houston." on the telephone.)

Tom in Diamonds Are Forever, who tells Willard Whyte that the satellite was sent to Vandenburg.

Most notably he was Commander Carter, captain of the USS Wayne in The Spy Who Loved Me.
