So you're saying that even if you're doing nothing, that you're still working?

It's not called the Creation Work it's called the Creation Process and as a part of that process was the seventh day or resting and admiring what was beautiful. So it's a part of the process!

"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning - the sixth day" - Genesis Chapter 1 verse 31

Now that should settle it

As I said in my last comment Connery was Brilliant. However, going back to the original comment by the Mastermind, surely everyone knows that God is none other than Eric Cantona (The greatest footballer in the history of Manchester United). Actually... Mr Cantona could be a good Bond. After all he has now turned his attention to acting and although he is French I'm sure that with a bit of practice he could perfect the accent.

Don't you mean Vinnie Jones?

Sorry - Lock Stock and Snatch fan here.

No I mean Eric Cantona. Vinnie Jones is good but even he once admitted that king eric is the greatest.
he's also better at kung-fu than vinnie as well as football.

I've heard of Eric but that's about it.

I still vote Vinne Jones, not as God though, after seeing him in Snatch and Lock Stock - both brilliant films.

Vinnie Jones is a better actor than Eric Cantona but Cantona is still the greatest footballer ever to live.

Glad you liked the theology!!

The football confused me except for Jones!!

Guess what I found out today, Vinne Jones was actually considered for the role of Renard in TWINE!!! How funny is that!!

Eric Cantona is not the greatest Manchester United footballer ever, even though he has been voted so, but never mind.
He will make a decent Bond, for he can come up with lines like the seagulls following that stupid trawler!

Well sorry but the creation story is seven days. God created the Earth over a period of seven days including one of rest which was the equivilant of our Sunday!

Yeah, whatever. God worked for six days, and the world was created. And then for the seventh day, he did NOTHING. So the world was created in SIX days, and the seventh day God created NOTHING!
