I would absolutely love to see a Quentin Tarantino Bond (sans PB that is). I know you either love him or hate him, and I did not like Death Proof and thought KB2 was iffy, but I think he'd make an amazingly awesome Bond movie of awesomeness. Now - in the real world this may not be good for the franchise (at least I appreciate that argument I've read in other threads here) and I acknowledge how polarizing, around here at least, QT is. But I don't care!

Considering that I'm allowed unrealistic choices here (or at least I'm assuming I am), mine would be as follows:
Director: Sean Penn Music: Eric Serra Screenwriter: Steven Zaillian, Sean Penn Producers: Michael Wilson, Barbara Broccoli, Sean Penn Cinematographer: Roberto Schaefer Editor: Jay Cassidy I've got a couple other fantasy combinations that I'll post later, but this one would be my dream line-up for a Bond film. ![]() ![]() |

My crew (had so many picks, so had to come up with 3 in some categories), and even though I think the choice of Sam Mendes and crew has been good, so far:
Director: 1 - Christopher Nolan 2 - Brad Bird 3 - Martin Campbell Producers: The usual team, Babs & Mickey and their crew. Writer(s): 1 - Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan 2 - Brad Bird 3 - Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (if it turns out more like Star Trek and not Transformers) Music: Michael Giacchino Title Song: Michael Buble Production Design: (I'm gonna assume Peter Lamont is not an option) 1 - Nathan Crowley 2 - Scott Chambliss 3 - Lou Romano (only if he can translate his CG work from The Incredibles over to live action) Cinematography: 1 - Wally Pfister 2 - Dan Mindel (but without the lens flares!) 3 - Michel Abramowicz (just saw From Paris with Loved and loved his work) Title Design: 1 - Prologue Films 2 - Alchemy (look at their Land of the Lost titles - the only good thing about that movie) 3 - Andrew Kramer Editing: 1 - Michael Kahn 2 - Stuart Baird 3 - Paul Hirsch ![]() Daniel Craig is Bond! And Bond is better than ever for it!

Version 1 Director: Kar-Wai Wong Editor: William Chang Cinematographer: Christopher Doyle Production Designer: Philip Messina Composer: Shigeru Umebayashi Costume Design: William Chang Screenwriter: Kar-Wai Wong and Yours Truly I'd love to have seen QUANTUM OF SOLACE as done by Wong and Doyle. Might have been the terrific, artistically accomplished and mouldbreaking Bond outing its supporters paint it as. If not, it would at least have looked good. And I know that this is just a bit of fun, but I'd hate to be professionally involved with the Bond series (not that that's remotely on the cards). The reason being that I'd no longer be able to enjoy it as a fan. I'm always surprised when fellow Bond fans tell me they'd jump at the chance of scripting or directing a 007 flick. |

You'd have to tolerate a lot of the rubbish that traditionally appears on here, for a start.

Interesting choices so far. Very entertaining! I'm going to have some fun with mine. Yeah, some of these folks are dead, but a good producer doesn't let anything stand in his way.
Director: Alfred Hitchcock (William Friedkin is my back up plan) Producers: me Barbara Broccoli (I intend to work very closely with her) Music composer: John Barry Cinematography: Ridley Scott (recently burned out from helming too many movies by himself) Film editor: Tony Scott (probably my scariest choice) Production Design: Syd Mead Screenplay: Luc Besson |
