Daniel Craig will be on Live with Regis & Kelly on Friday 9th October.
He ALWAYS goes on this show when he's promoting something! (He's been on it before to plug CR, QOS, and Defiance!) He must love it

Poor Daniel. I can't stand those two. I dunno which one is Regis or Kelly, but good on the older gentleman for being so hyperactive ALL THE TIME. He practically does backflips when he walks on set.

Do you think he has to be pushed into doing these interview? I know it must be part and parcel of the job, but he doesnt look like he is ever is 100% comfy.

There's nothing for him to say about Bond 23 because there's nothing going on with the film other than Morgan, Purvis, and Wade working on the script. There's not even a targeted release date from the film, and all MGM has to say on that matter is that they're going to announce it in "due time" (studio speak for "we'll get to it when we get to it"). Basically, Craig can't comment on Bond 23 because, as of now, Bond 23 basically does not exist outside of an unfinished first draft of a script.  |

Daniel and Hugh were both supposed to be on Good Morning America on the same day a few weeks ago and Hugh was supposed to be on The View that same week, but both of those got cancelled. I think the reasoning for those was that it was press week and perhaps the appearances interfered with their rehearsals or concentration. Could the reason for Daniel's cancellation on Regis be that Regis wasn't there and they had a guest host? But it's not like the show needs any publicity - it's pretty much sold out for the entire run.
Meanwhile, Katie Couric has a webshow, and she did a 45-minute interview with Hugh. Anyone catch this? I was on the bus on the way to class when I realized this was today, and forgot to set my DVR to record it. Did DC give any information about the status of Bond 23? Particularly in light of his recent comments that they would start shooting at the end of next year, I think he'd probably say something. Anyone know if this is online somewhere?
