Sounds like a very interesting twist on the traditional TV spot - showing the main titles and quite a violent scene. Look forward to this perhaps appearing at some point!

There is no network-wide broadcast of the Simpsons on a Wednesday night, so I think he's probably full of it.

I saw number four during Lost just earlier (the one with the mirror at the end). Before that I saw a Sony ad that featured CR - for a TV or something - but it was quite cool. Featured YKMN in the background (orchestra I think - no singing). I don't think there were any shots that I haven't seen before.

Hmm on the basis of all this, sounds like the original poster on Superhero Hype was either being untruthful or just slightly confused. It does surprise me that parts of the main titles would feature in a TV spot, but I'd be delighted to be proved wrong!!

WHOA! Its real alright, I just saw it, at the end of the Simpsons.
It ROCKS. LOTS of title animation. And I mean ANIMATION. There's a shot of an animated tuxedo Bond-like guy punching another animated figure, lots of casino motifs like routette wheels spinning, a King figure from a card holding a gun. A 7 card having two holes shot into it to make 007, a diamond symbol sticking into someone's chest. Daniel Craig himself is in the titles, at the end of the ad he glares right into the camera. Its all very bright red and greens, this is a VERY, VERY different title sequence. The closest thing I can compare it to is the title sequence of Catch me if you can, the sort of retro stick figures running around. As for actual footage, a couple of new things - the best was an annoyed Le Chiffre at the poker table throwing some cards right at the camera, a brief glimpse of, I believe, Demetrius, the rest was all familiar shots. But this was definitely an eye-catcher of an ad. You're gonna love it! |

Just saw it, 10:45 EST on Sci Fi. I cut my girlfriend off in mid sentance when Craig came on screen and made her shut up until it was over. Five seconds of silence.... and then "Holy Sh!t that was cool!"
