Very nice gesture and a real class act! Perhaps she's trying to butter Sean up for a CR cameo?

As expected, that was a really classy move on Ms. Broccoli's part as opposed to all the horrid things that that classless thug Connery has said about her father over the years, especially when Cubby was not in the best of health ("Good!" is not an appropiate response for the family to hear to the news that thier husband and father has passed away).

("Good!" is not an appropiate response for the family to hear to the news that thier husband and father has passed away). Guess that's why he didnt show up to the wake. Ten bucks says Connery rips the ad out of the magazine and uses it to wipe his [censored]. ![]() Daniel Craig is a great 007

I love Connery as Bond, but as a human being he's a bastard. Moore is always the model of how one should act. The man is so gracious, giving interviews for the DVD's, doing the commentaries, being a true humanitarian. We should all strive to be like Moore.

Having had the oppurtunity to engage with all of the prior five, I totally agree with you about Roger. Having been with him just recently in Canada, he is always the gentleman and always have time for a word for anyone. Nobody does it better. |

I am sure that this has been debated here many times, but I cannot count Bob Holness, Barry Nelson, David Niven (and the others) as official 007's and, therefore, there are only six Jmaes Bond films that I can count Connery in. |

Good to see that Babs seems to have buried the hatchet. It's about time, hasn't it been over two decades since Connery last sued EON?!

What you're saying is irrelevant - Sean Connery played James Bond in NSNA, his seventh Bond film. He played the same character for six other films. So in total, Connery played Bond seven times. Its just the reality of the situation. To say he didn't play Bond in NSNA is to say the film is not a Bond film, which it is, of course... For more clarification, ask Connery in how many has he played. He'll confirm it, I believe... ![]() "I wouldn't know, I've never lost."

Well personally, while I consider NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN to be a Bond film - and a great one, perhaps the best. The jury is still out on wether THUNDERBALL and DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER are Bond films. ![]() ![]() Robert Brown was Admiral Hargreaves in TSWLM, OP, AVTAK, TLD and LTK damnit Enforcer, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Roger Moore Proud defender of Barbara Bach, Carole Bouquet, Barbara Carrera, Maryam D'Abo, A View to a Kill, Never Say Never Again and The Spy Who Loved Me. |
